Design a series of football related t-shirts for the Umbro Tee-Shop.
Concept
To coincide with Umbro’s Teeshop, the task is to design a series of football based t-shirt designs that speak to the football audience and will encourage the purchase of them.
Target Audience
Big. Bold. Football terrace humour.

1. Animal Nicknames Each vector represents a different football club’s animal nickname i.e. Swansea=The Swans
5. Star Formations Visualising the game’s most infamous football formations, in a star constellation manner. Mapping the players and their pitch position.
3. FOO†BALL Religion in football
7. Umbro Gang Symbol Capturing the iconic Diamond Umbro logo in a ‘street’ gang symbol. Mirroring that of player celebrations.
2. Twin Towers The original and famous Wembley towers illustrated into a sad face to commerate their passing.
6. GOAL Embracing gaming culture to represent football teams & the manner of their goals; all using the PLAYSTATION FIFA buttons.
4. Goalhanger Celebrating those players that flauntthelackoftheoffsideruleto hang around the goalline, poaching cheap goals.
8.. FA CUP FINAL AshirtfortheFACupfinal weekend. Designs based on the original Dad’s army gaphics, to display the nothern invasion of football clubs, to London.

The t-shirts will be posted within the above package. This includes a certificateofauthenticity,anUmbroacrylichanger(shapedintomyUmbro Teeshop logo design) and all contained inside a diamond box, that represents the traditional Umbro branding. 5/6

it’s the fleeting moments of sublime skill, the chants from the stands and
the dodgy haircuts that make it extra special.
It’s this we want to celebrate with the Umbro Tee Shop, a new store
that we’ve launched to offer exclusive designs on a strictly limited basis.
With a new design launched every week, created by some of the finest
designers around, the Umbro Tee Shop will capture the highs and lows
of the football world perfectly.
Every Monday, Umbro will reveal a new tee shirt design that will be on
sale in strictly limited qualities for just a few days. 11 shirts for now, 1
small, 4 medium, 4 large and 2 extra-large. You’ll then be able to order
the shirt, and get it delivered to you by the end of the week, in time
for the next match at the weekend. If you don’t get in there and get
your shirt, that’ll be it. They’ll only be available as one-off, extremely
limited designs.
The Umbro Tee Shop is only available here in the UK, due to shipping
limitations.

The stars are out in force for this latest terrific design
from the Umbro Tee Shop. Matching classic football
formations with the night sky was the bright idea of a
young up-and-coming designer, Alex Walter, who got in
touch with us to show us some of his designs for the Tee
Shop.
We loved them, and have put this one on sale straight
away - we’re pretty sure Alex is going to be a star in the
future! There’s only 11 on sale, so you’ll have to get your
hands on one quick.
