UMass Medicine Science Park is one of the nation’s

The recent addition of the $400 million Albert Sherman Center (right) expands and unifi es UMass Medical School’s Worcester campus, doubles its research capacity and supports the school’s new learner-centered curriculum. Designed to foster collaboration among scientists, educators and learners, the nine-story, 512,000-square-foot facility features research laboratories, six learning community centers, a 350-seat auditorium, a full-service café and dining area, and a fi tness center.
