How They WorkAn ultrasound machine sends sound waves into

the body using a transducer.

The waves then reflect off the organs back towards the transducer.

From there they are turned into electrical waves and sent into a sonogram.

Ultrasound is used to guide the needle through the are to distribute the medicine.

Drug DeliveryUsing ultrasounds in drug delivery is a very new

topic.

It is being tested right now on rabbits.

This makes dealing with illnesses with the eyes easier to treat.

This study proved that it can work but needs much more testing.

As of right now there are serious risk of doing this procedure.
