2. The following ticker tape in Diagram 1 was obtained when a trolley is allowed to move down a runway with a constant acceleration. The ticker timer makes 50 ticks per second. 5. A student carries out an experiment to investigate the relationship between the length of a string,l, and the oscillation period, T of a pendulum. The mass of the pendulum bob is 100 g and the length of the string is 10.0 cm as shown in Diagram 4.

The bob is displaced at an angle to one side and then released so that it oscillates. The time for 10 oscillations, T1 is recorded using a stopwatch. The same bob is oscillated again to obtain the time for 10 oscillations, T2 for the second time. The experiment is repeated by using strings with the lengths of 20.0 cm, 30.0 cm. 40.0 cm and 50.0 cm.
