Refurbished UCN Power Supply

Western Process Computers refurbishes all UCN power supplies, 51198947-100 and 51109684-100 with a new fan and capacitors. Over time the capacitance changes causing circuit failure in the power supply. The single fan is replaced to increase the life expectancy of the supply.

The supply is in compliance with all the applicable directives of the European Economic Community (EEC).

UCN Dual Fan Alarm Assembly

The NEW WPC assembly is manufactured for both 115Vac and 220Vac applications.Fused 0.5 A, 120 Vac or 240 Vac power is provided by the Power Systemfor Cabinet Fan assembly operation. Up to four Cabinet Fan assemblies can be powered by the 120 Vac or 240Vac. The assembly has a fan health LED to indicate normal operation of both fans. The contacts are closed when the cabinet fan assembly is operating normally. The operation of the Cabinet Fan assembly can be monitored by a 24 Vdc Digital Input FTA.

A CompactFlash upgrade for yourHistory Module, with no moving

This CompactFlash-based SCSI drive emulates the Seagate hard drives used with Honeywell’s History Module, in a singledriveorduallogicalconfiguration.The Industrial-Grade CompactFlash offers high reliability with no moving parts.

The CFHD-S is configured to emulatea single Seagate SCSI hard drive, in theolder,pre-duallogicalconfiguration.It uses the same power and data connections as the original Seagate harddrive,andisconfiguredfortheSCSIaddress of the drive it replaces. The CFHD-D emulates the more recent dual logical SCSI hard drive. It has the same capacity but better performance than the original hard drive.

This replacement drive installs easily into an HM drive tray, mounted lengthwise. The CFHD-S cannot be mounted in the transverse configuration of the originaldrive because of dimensional constraints. For this reason, this drive cannot be used intheolderdual-driveconfiguration.Thedrive tray for lengthwise mounting of a single drive is available from WPC (it’s the same tray as that used with the dual-logical drive).

With a redundant installation, the new drive can be synchronized with the existing drive, as would be done with an original Seagate drive. For non-redundant installation, the new drive may be re-stored from a back-up of your HM drive.

The solid-state design and lack of moving parts results in a low-power disk replacement which requires no periodic maintenance. 5-year replacement of the CF card is recommended.

A Simple, Hardware Only Solution…

The HPI-3010 connects to most Universal Stations using a standard RS 232 cable (supplied with the unit). The printer connects to one side of the interface using a standard USB cable (also supplied). For LaserJet printers using letter or A4 size paper, all printed text uses a compressed font to accommodate the narrower paper width.
