I would like to invite you to attend the First Epilepsy Expert Day

at the Dublin Convention Centre on the 4th of November, and I

am sure that you will agree that the programme of speakers and

topics will not disappoint.

This meeting is being organised by UCB Pharma, in conjunction

with the Irish Chapter of the International League Against Epilepsy.

I believe that it is important the Irish League becomes more active

in professional activities, aids in networking of individuals involved

in the care of people with epilepsy and related disorders in Ireland,

has a voice in international activities of the ILAE, and promotes

advocacy for epilepsy resources and research funding for epilepsy

at national and European level. It is my goal that this Expert Day

for epilepsy health professionals will become an annual event and

will act as a focal point for increasing ILAE activity within Ireland. I

hope you can join us on the day.
