We live in a time wherein several forces keep constantly changing our work-life balance. We

are witnessing a wave of innovation, disruption and growth. Change is seen due to

innovations in digital connectivity, entrepreneurial activity and access to technologies.

These days every new idea for business starts just with the use of a smart phone or a laptop.

Investments are no more a constraint in starting any new business.

We Live in an , by definition, is a radical change, necessitating Age of Disruption. 'Disruption'

an adjustment of course or strategy, often caused by the launch of a new product or service.

Disruption is perceived or associated as a negative change in general. But this may not

necessarily be true in call cases. Ever since the economical development age set in, we

have always accepted that Change is the only constant, and in today's scenario this same

Change has resulted in a new term called Disruption. It is true that Disruption can't be

reversed, and it probably can't be avoided. Positive Disruptions offer lots of opportunities to

Individuals, Corporates, and Countries to utilize them successfully.

In today's competitive markets, corporates are fascinated with disruption. Amazon, Airbnb,

Uber and Tesla have got tremendous attention and success for creating a disruptive

strategy within their market space. Each of them have used unique business models to

revolutionize experience and open doors to massive growth. They are using very innovative

ways to create a much greater impact than what was expected in intensifying effects by way

of Disruption.

Today, Venture capitalists have a higher risk appetite. Lot of start-ups are now funded for

their 'Disruptive ideas'. It has proved to be a huge boost to innovative thinking and

encouragement for today's youths. Several limiting beliefs are now used as business

opportunities.

It is time for us to learn, realise and treat Disruption as a Catalyst. This will help pursue

significant growth opportunities.

We at BCICAI present to you this year in the 11th Annual International Conference a theme

which has been changing, shaping and impacting all of us inside out.
