Health Guidelines concerning Coronavirus
- stay home if you’re sick
- avoid close contact with others
- wash hands for 20 seconds and use hand sanitizer
- cover your cough and/or sneeze with elbow or tissue
- avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands

The 2021 Mass book opening will be postponed due to recent
developments between Holy Name of Jesus and Holy Cross.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel - “Tailored Prayer: Finding the Way of
Prayer that is Right for You” - September 23 @the Shrine Church from
9:30 - 11:15am followed by Mass @ 11:30. Cost is $10 per person. Please
wear a mask and adhere to all social distance guidelines posted. For

Mass Intentions - Need a special gift??? A Mass intention is a wonder-
ful gift for birthdays, anniversaries, good health or for something special.

SPIRITUAL CONCERNS - for those afflicted with the Corona Virus Do the following if you are able: 1)Watch the live-streamed Mass 2) Pray the Rosary 3) Stations of the Cross 4) Say the Apostle’s Creed 5) Say the Our Father
You must do the Apostle’s Creed and the Our Father at least to receive a Special Indulgence from Pope Francis if you are unable to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation or Last Rites.
Burke Catholic - has developed a plan for a five-day learning environment using the facility they have, including the gym and cafeteria. Contact them if you need your high school student to be in school for the week. Juniors especially are welcome as this is a crucial year for the students and colleges. 845.294.5482
St. Mary’s Church, Ball St. - Boy Scouts Port Jervis Troop 173 Annual cloth-
ing drive and $5.00 Car wash on Saturday, September 26 from 9:00am -
3:00pm. Donations of clothing, blankets, linens, towels, shoes, stuffed ani-
mals, toys and games. Clean out your closet, come donate and get your car
washed.

Orange County Life Chain: Holy Name Church parishioners and friends are
invited to join in the Life Chain on Sunday, October 4 from 2:00pm -
3:30pm. We will be meeting at Route 211 East in Middletown in front of the
now closed Friendly’s. Social distancing and masks are required. This pro-life
event is a peaceful, prayerful public witness that all lives, born and unborn
