Internal water transmission and heating systems

Tweetop company was established in 2001. Since that time, year by year, sales volume of Tweetop system has been consequently increasing. Thanks to company’s rapid development, in 2008 Tweetop became pipe manufacturer. At the end of 2010 Tweetop started production of fittings. The main product of the company is the Tweetop system, based on multilayer pipes and press fittings - the most advanced system in the plastic pipe world. Tweetop offers pipes and fittings in dimension range of 14 – 75mm with all necessary tools and accessories dedicated to different application, from household to industrial ones. Core ap-plication of the Tweetop system is surface heating, where turnkey solutions, including the designing service, are delivered to the customer.

All of our specialists, whether working in trade, logistics, production or quality control departments, have significant experience in the field. This assures quality of services on all levels, from development to supply of our products. Thanks to the expertise of our team, each client is guaranteed professional solicitude, from the beginning to the very end.

Technical support regarding products is always provided by experienced engineers certified with design licenses required by Polish building law.

Marketing team delivers all necessary informative materials to the customers, which are tailored for individual client.

Production and quality control

Tweetop manufactures top quality multilay-er pipes since 2008, using modern extrusion production line. In June 2011 a new produc-tion line manufactured by leading German company was installed. The sophististication and efficiency of our machines allow us to significantly increase our production capac-ity. By the end of 2010, Tweetop launched production of fittings.

The most important part of production department is quality control. Thanks to well equipped laboratory, Tweetop is able to control raw materials as well as the final products. Tweetop can make all necessary tests recommended by European standards and technical approvals. Tweetop provides various tests, such as: thermocycle test (according to DVGW W542); internal pressure re-sistance; adhesion force – dissection resistance; expansion test – stretching resistance; heat test; control of marking, appearance and geometry of pipes; ball test (internal diameter check); mass flow rate test (MFR).

Tweetop Pressed System 14-75 mmThe main method of joining Tweetop pipes is made with the use of pressed fittings. Connection be-tween pipe and fittings is achieved by pressing the pipe into the profile of the fitting, with the use of pressing machine equipped with U-type jaws, adapted to the fitting type. Leaktightness of the joining chamber is ensured by two O-ring seals that are perfectly incorporated into the joint zone. Making such connections is also possible in the floor screed or wall chase.

Tweetop Compression Fittings 16-25 mmTweetop’s threaded (compression) fittings are made of nickelplated brass in diameter range from 16mm to 25mm. Thanks to advancements in the production process occurrence of material defects is almost non-existent. Nickel-plating prevents wash out of zinc and brass corrosion. The main advantage of using such type of fitting is that their installation does not require expensive specialized tools.

Tweetop UFH System Tweetop surface heating system is the low temperature central heating, which ensures feeling of thermal comfort inside the room, thanks to steady heat distribution on the whole heated area. Very beneficial vertical temperature distribution makes characteristic of the floor heating very close to the ideal temperature distribution curve. The main advantage of the Tweetop floor system is its economy which arises among others thanks to the fact that surface heating systems operate at low temperature parameters (the most often used temperatures are: 45/35°C, ∆T=10 K, max. temp is 50°C).

Pipes joining – step by step

1. cut the pipe to the preferred length by pipe cutter or other recommended tool, perpendicular to the pipe axis

2. chamfer the pipe edges with the beveling tool

3. push the pipe into the fitting between the stainless steel ring and body of fitting until the white face of the pipe appears in all the inspection openings of the stainless steel ring

4. press the joint by the manual or electric pressing tool, equipped with U type clamping jaws

1. cut the pipe to the preferred length by pipe cutter or other recommended tool, perpendicular to the pipe axis

2. chamfer the pipe edges with the bevelling tool

3. put the nut onto the pipe and then put the cut ring

4. push the fitting body into the pipe (up to the end)

5. turn the fitting body with the nut by using wrench. While turning the nut pipe should not rotate

Pressed connection

Screw connections (turned joints)

• pressed joint (as the non-separable ones) may be used for leading pipes in wall chases and floor screed

• in order to make press connection, use only U profile jaws • turned joint (screw connection) may be used only in visible locations – connections located

under the plaster or in screed is prohibited • it is recommended to make connections in temperature above 0oC• end of pipes before making connection should be chamfered with the use of beveling tool• pipes may be cut only with system pipe cutters perpendicular to the axis
