The dermatovenerologic dispensary was opened in Kyzyl of the
Tuva People's Republic on February 24, 1945 by the order of
the People's Commissariat of the RSFSR No. 680

The opening of the dispensary was preceded by work to combat sexuallytransmitted diseases, the beginning was laid by the expedition of the People'sCommissariat of Health of the RSFSR, under the guidance of I.D. Rudenko whoworked in Tuva in 1928-1933.
The objectives of the expedition were:
rendering qualified assistance;
health network organization;
training of national medical personnel;
study of some aspects of Tibetan medicine;
health education;
During the expedition of the RSFSR Commissariat of Health, 6 hospitals and 3 medical centers were opened. The bed network has increased from 25 beds in 1928 to 185 in 1933.
From 1928 to 1940, the Ministry of Cultural Affairs of the People's Republic of Tuva worked on health issues in Tuva.
June 23, 1941 according to art. 32 of the Constitution of the People's Republicof Tuva, adopted by the X Great Khural, formed the Ministry of Health of thePeople's Republic of Tuva (from November 1, 1944, the regional healthdepartment, from January 10, 1962, to the Ministry of Health).
