 Petrographic Report Client Turkish Carbonate Petrolab Limited  Rock type: High purity calcite marble Major minerals: Abundance Wt% calcite > 99.8 Trace minerals limonite < 0.2 Description: Calcite occurs as tessellating, moderate to weakly sutured, equigranular crystals. Crystals have an average grainsize of approximately 1 mm and show no obvious preferred dimensional orientation or banding. Calcite is devoid of opaque inclusions and has a low fluid inclusion density . There are no strongly coloured hydrocarbon fluid inclusions. Limonite occurs as extremely rare interstitial inclusions and stains on calcite grains. Plates:  A Plane and cross polarise d views show the high purity of sample.
