Mandatory Fee Increases• Athletic Fee

+$2 / SCH each year (authorized by referendum – doesn’t count against the cap)FY 2011 $15/SCH + 15%FY 2012 $17/SCH + 13%

Maximum paid is 12 SCH – Adds $48/year to full time students taking 12 SCH or more for both years

Mandatory Fee Decrease

• Energy Fee will be reduced by <19%> in FY 2011 from $35 per student per semester to $28.50• Result of UT System directive to review utility costs

and rates – new facility costs should be borne from designated tuition

• Annualized savings of $13 per student

• FY 2011 $131.75 / SCH +$10.90 (+9%)• A full time student taking 30 SCH per year will pay $327 more

• FY 2012 $142.75 / SCH + $11.00 (+8%)• A full time student taking 30 SCH per year will pay $330 more

20% of the increase is set aside for financial aid by law
