Inspecta’s Story

Inspecta’s story began in 1975 when the Finnish state founded the Technical Inspectorate, TTL, to ensure that pressurised equipment and other machines in our working environment were safe for people to use and work with. In January 1998, the Finnish market was opened up to competition, and, at the same time, TTL was rebranded Inspecta. Since then, the company has grown and is now part of a global group, ACTA* and has branch offices in more than nine countries.

This is InspectaTrust & Quality

The cornerstones of our business

We work with our customers in order to improve their safety and productivity, often helping by giving them a competitive advantage and market diffe- rentiation. Business benefits include increasing the quality and reliability of repairs and maintenance. Trust and quality form the basis of our business ideology. Our Motto - Trust & Quality.

We help our customers ensure and verify their compliance with regulations and we support them by improving their quality and processes. Our ser-vices can identify hidden risks and help customers prepare for the unpredictable, reducing the risks of extra costs, malfunctions, or in the worst case, injuries.

Inspecta’s services help customers have better, higher quality business operations that are more sustainable, more productive and take safety se-riously. At the same time our operations not only serve you, your company and its customers, but also society as a whole.

Impartiality and Independence

The majority of our business in Finland is assessed by an independent body (FINAS) therefore ensuring uniform quality in everything we do. As a result we can act as a neutral and independent third party, our customers accepting such neutrality. Our indepen-dence guarantees high standards of inspection and certification and we are dedicated to following industry standards and all accredited monitoring systems.

Such inspection and certification activities, closely following all regulations are the basis of our suc-cess. Staff development is monitored through sepa-rate legal entities (Inspecta Tarkastus Oy for inspec-tion and Inspecta Sertifiointi Oy for certification) set up for just this purpose.
