TRIP FOR THE SOUL PERU – JULY 2012
I invite you to share a wonderful and transformational experience in a magical and special
place. This personalized journey will help to awaken and increase our consciousness on all
levels: body, mind, heart and soul!
The intention of this trip is beyond a touristic tour. In addition to visiting sacred and ancient
sites, the proposal is of a spiritual nature, working in communion with nature’s elements
and with our own essence.
Among other activities, we will:
Enjoy the Apus, energy of the mountains and their amazing landscapes; go for long walks
and have outdoor activities; participate in ceremonies and rites with Andean shamans and
learn their wisdom on Andean cosmovision and local traditions in indigenous communities.
Work with the Medicine Wheel and the four directions or elements (Earth, Water, Air and
Fire) and their relationship with our bodies and levels of healing.
Share daily the energies based on the Mayan Calendar, what they represent and how to
get in tune with the cycles while working with our personal intentions.
Visit local markets where you will be able to appreciate and shop beautiful handcrafts and
regional products.
And very important, we will have time to relax and have fun!

ITINERARY – 11 DAYS AND 10 NIGHTS
(7/22/12 to 8/1/12)
DAY 1 – Sunday 7/22 Visit to Pisac’s Sundays Market, Welcome Ceremony
Arrival in the morning to the colonial city of Cuzco, center of the Andean universe, capital of the Inca Empire. Transfer from the airport to Paz y Luz in Pisac, land of the majestic sacred river Willka Mayu (Vilcanota-Urubamba). Lunch and free afternoon to visit the PISAC MARKET. Andean ceremony Despacho (offering to Pachamama, Mother Earth, and the Apus, spirits of the mountains) and Ayni Rite performed by a Q’ero shaman to bless our journey. Fire ceremony at night.
DAY 2 – Monday 7/23 Visit to Amaru Community Group and activities introduction after breakfast. Our journey starts around lunch time. This day will be dedicated to learn and enjoy the customs and living traditions of the Yachaqs in the AMARU COMMUNITY. Traditional lunch included, followed by a demonstration of Andean textile processes and interaction with the community members. Farewell with a typical regional dance. After the activities, we will return to Paz y Luz.

DAY 3 - Tuesday 7/24
Connecting with element: EARTH Meeting with our Mother Earth, Pachamama. In the morning, we will visit the magnificent and enigmatic temple of MORAY, center of spiritual rings. Free time to connect with the sacred temple. We will work on our connection with the EARTH element and have a spiritual ceremony with an Andean shaman. We will proceed to visit the great Inca center of salt production, SALINERAS MARAS. After the activities, we will return to Paz y Luz.
DAY 4 – Wednesday 7/25 Connecting with element: WATER Meeting with our inner self. We will visit the connection center of the 5 senses TIPON, temple of wisdom and life. Free time to connect with Life and work with the WATER element. We will continue with a long walk towards Apu PACHATUSAN. We will celebrate the DAY OUT OF TIME in the 13Moon Calendar. After the activities, we will return to Paz y Luz.

DAY 5 – Thursday 7/26
Connecting with element: AIR Meeting with our invisible self, the AIR, in the grand temple of PUMAMARCA, in a region rarely visited by tourists. We will connect with the soul of our tutelary gods (Apus or mountains). We will celebrate the NEW YEAR in the 13Moon Calendar. After the activities, we will return to Paz y Luz.
DAY 6 – Friday 7/27 Connecting with element: FIRE Meeting with the light and strength of the FIRE in the ruins of INTIHUATANA, temple and center of Illapa god (Ray). We will start before the sunrise accompanied by Dianne Dunn, spiritual guide and owner of Paz y Luz. We will have a second despacho in this sacred place where we will receive the Pampamesaioq Rite in its traditional form by a Q’ero shaman. After the activities, we will hike down the mountain to Paz y Luz.

DAY 7 – Saturday 7/28
Train to Machu Picchu, Aguas Calientes Our pilgrimage to the mecca of Inca astronomy and religion MACHU PICCHU starts mid-morning. Transfer from Paz y Luz to Ollantaytambo to take the train to AGUAS CALIENTES. Optional visit to the hot springs in Aguas Calientes. Night in Hotel Royal Inti Inn.
DAY 8 – Sunday 7/29
Day in Machu Picchu This day will start very early to enjoy the blessing of god Inti (Sun) to connect with the majesty and enigma of the crystal city of MACHU PICCHU. In addition to visiting the main archeological sites, we will take a spiritual path of the city. Free time. In the afternoon, we will take the train to Ollantaytambo and we will travel to Cusco. Night in Hotel Siete Ventanas.

DAY 9 – Monday 7/30 Ruins and sacred sites in Cusco’s surroundings
Visit to the grand Ray temple, SACSAYHUAMAN. Q’ENQO ceremonial amphitheater to the creator god of the Inca universe (Titi). Ceremony in the SERPENT CAVE, temple of wisdom. Night in Hotel Siete Ventanas.
DAY 10 – Tuesday 7/31 Colonial City of Cusco
In the morning, we will walk around the city including a tour through the monumental center of the CITY OF CUSCO and a visit to the traditional market. We will end our journey with a dinner and traditional folklore show. Night in Hotel Siete Ventanas.
DAY 11 – Wednesday 8/1
Transfer to Cusco airport – return to country of origin or other destinations

IMPORTANT: July is high season in Peru. In order to secure the reservation of hotels, entrance
and train to Machu Picchu, payment must be sent by the indicated dates. The deposit is non-refundable and all payments must be in US Dollars through bank transfer (or check/money order for residents in United States). In case it’s not included in your airfare, you need to take into consideration the airport taxes
of USD 30.74 for international flights and USD 8.72 for national flights. Both taxes should
be paid in cash at the airport (in US Dollars or Nuevo Soles).
When registering, you will receive a document indicating how to proceed with the payment and recommendations for the trip. This trip will be in English language. If there are people interested in this experience in
Spanish, a second group will be put together with a minimum of five people starting with the same itinerary on 8/4/12. MAYAN CALENDAR
Each day, we will work with the Tzolkin energies, Sacred Mayan Calendar, and we will have
rituals and exercises. These activities do not have any additional cost.
If you want to have your personal Oracle, another type of reading or a personal session,
they will be charged separately.
