The DENTSPLY Triad 2000 Light Curing Unit isa precision engineered unit, constructed to exactingspecifications with the finest materials and work-manship. It contains controls and components forcuring Triad visible light activated materials. Theunit is manufactured and distributed by DENTSPLYInternational Inc., York, PA, through authorized den-tal dealers throughout the world. The DENTSPLY Triad 2000 Unit incorporatesspecific controls with a rotating platform and lift, andthrough a tungsten halogen light source, cures light-activated materials by use of visible light. Theadjustable table features selective controls to accom-modate the processing of all types of visible lightcure materials in various appliance shapes, with orwithout the use of a model (cast). Refer to Figure 1 for location of the following unitcontrols and components:

POWER: On/Off switch. The cooling fan willoperate.

TABLE: Activates rotation of the table.

CURE: On/Off switch. Activates the lamp whenaccess door is closed. (Access door actu-ates safety interlock switch.)

TIMER: Rotating timer dial programs processingtime.

TURNTABLE: The turntable is raised and lowered by the

top-mounted lift knob. The turntable willraise or lower to internal stops. The rota-tion of the turntable is provided by a gear-motor operating at 6 rpm. Rotation is acti-vated by the table switch.

CURING CHAMBER: Contains a high-power, specially angled

tungsten halogen reflector lamp whichprojects optimum photocure light on theturntable location. The lamp is mountedto be replaced easily.

COOLING FAN: One 12 watt, 115V fan operates when the

power switch is ON, cooling the lamphousing and the curing chamber.

UNPACKING AND INSTALLA-TION

DO NOT CONNECT POWER CORD TOOUTLET AT THIS TIME.

1. Remove unit from shipping carton and placein the desired operating location.

2. Open the processing chamber door andremove packing material.NOTE: Save shipping and packing mate-rials. If service is required at any time onyour Triad 2000 unit, you are respon-sible for its safe* shipment back toDENTSPLY. This is best accomplishedif the original shipping carton and pack-ing materials are used.

3. Connect the POWER cord to an appropriatepower source.

4. Turn the POWER switch ON. The coolingfan should operate.

5. With the access door closed, set the TIMERdial to 1 minute. Depress the CURE switchto ON. The lamp should illuminate.

6. Depress the TABLE switch to ON. The tableshould rotate.

USING THE ‘SIGHTLINE’ To ensure optimum curing of all Triad Materials, itis important to position the Triad appliance at theproper height within the curing chamber. In the Triad2000 unit, the alignment sightline is the lowest edgeof the lamp access door. (Refer to Figures 2 and 3.) Positioning of turntable should be approximatelyone-quarter inch below this sightline (created by thebottom edge of the lamp access door). Simply use thelift knob to raise or lower the appliance to be curedto within this range. The mid-point of the applianceshould be lined up with the sightline for optimumcuring.

PROCESSING PROCEDURES1. Place workpiece to be processed in the center of

the turntable.2. Set height of turntable using the lift knob (on top)

and the optimum cure “sightline” shown inFigures 2 and 3 for maximum light cure.

3. Firmly close the chamber access door.

NOTE: Open and close the curing chamberdoor using the top one-half to one-thirdof the finger grip edge on the right-handside of the door. Failure to close thedoor properly will not engage the inter-lock switch at the top of the door, thuspreventing the lamp from operating.

4. Press the POWER switch to ON.5. Rotate TIMER to desired processing time inter-

val. (See the “Recommended Material ProcessingTimes” section.)

6. Press the CURE and TABLE switches to activatelamp and turntable rotation. The lamp will turnoff automatically when the processing cycle iscomplete.

NOTE: Should a processing time cycle be inter-rupted, recycle the CURE switch toOFF. Continue processing the work-piece by pressing the CURE switch toON, which will result in a new, full-term cycle as indicated by the TIMER.

7. Open the chamber access door and remove theworkpiece from the processing chamber.

8. When the fan has cooled the processing chamber(approximately 5 minutes), press the POWERswitch to OFF.

IMPORTANT: Within practical working times, complete process-ing of Triad Materials is not possible using hand-heldlight curing devices developed for clinical restorativedentistry. Therefore, with procedures that call for theuse of a hand-held light to establish an initial set, thework must then be processed for the minimum rec-ommended time in a Triad VLC Light Curing Unit.Only this will assure maximum physical propertiesof the Triad Material used.

WARNING:A protective lens covering the lamp becomes hotduring processing. Avoid contact at any time toprevent burns.

Maintenance instructions within this section arelimited to Periodic Maintenance and Troubleshoot-ing/Analysis. The corrective measures presented in the trou-bleshooting procedures will eliminate most difficul-ties encountered. When more than one correctivemeasure is given, follow the indicated sequence. Ifcorrective measures fail to eliminate the malfunc-

CAUTION:Be certain to disconnect the electrical powersource to the unit prior to performing mainte-nance.

COMPONENT REMOVAL ANDREPLACEMENT OF LAMP

1. When the lamp burns out, unplug the cord fromthe power supply outlet.

2. Open the Lamp Access Door to expose the lampconnector wires which are attached to the back ofthe lamp housing.

CAUTION:The lamp operates under pressure and at a hightemperature and may shatter or fail especially ifthe unit is jarred or dropped when the lamp is on.This curing lamp is unique to the Triad 2000 unit.Use only the lamp specified for this unit(Reorder No. 70353). Use of improper lamp oruse of defective equipment can result in shatter-ing which can cause personal injury and/orequipment damage.The lamp may be HOT from being in use. Allowthe lamp to cool to room temperature, approxi-mately 10 minutes, before proceeding withreplacement.

3. Carefully remove lamp socket from the rear ofthe lamp. See Figure 4.

4. Unscrew the three knurled screws and removethe lamp collar (ring) and the lamp.

5. The replacement lamp and other parts should bere-assembled in the reverse order of disassembly.

6. Return Lamp Access Door to its original positionand tighten the thumbscrew.

7. The circuit breaker on the side of the unit mayhave activated. Reset the circuit breaker bydepressing it to the flush position.

8. Close the access door and actuate lamp illumina-tion by depressing the CURE switch.

9. When the unit has been re-assembled and theaccess door closed, operate the unit through a testcure cycle to check whether the lamp is function-ing properly.

NOTE: The lamp will not operate with the cur-ing chamber access door in the openposition.

MAINTENANCE

No unusual maintenance of the unit is requiredother than to keep the unit free of excessive dust anddebris. When indicated, use a vacuum or air pressure hoseto gently remove dust or debris from the optical filterand turntable area. The turntable will lift off from its motor mountingto facilitate cleaning. It may be soaked or sprayedwith a surface disinfectant. Note also that the Triad2000 turntable may be safely autoclaved up to 100cycles. Clean the cabinet with a mild soap or surface dis-infectant as required. Avoid abrasive cleaning com-pounds.

PRECAUTIONS:• Prevent liquids from entering the unit, particularlyfrom the top.

• Disconnect the Power Cord prior to performingany maintenance.

TRIAD® 2000 CURING UNIT WARRANTY

The DENTSPLYTRIAD® 2000 VLC Light Curing Unit is designed for dental use only and this war-ranty is not applicable to other uses. The DENTSPLY TRIAD 2000 VLC Light Curing Unit, exceptlamp, is warranted against defective material and workmanship for a period of 24 months from thedate of purchase. Parts will be repaired or replaced at our option. The DENTSPLY TRIAD VLCLight Curing Unit lamp is warranted for 30 days. This warranty extends only to the original purchas-er and is subject to the following conditions:

1. The warranty registration card must be completed and returned to DENTSPLY within two weeksof date of installation.

2. Any servicing of the DENTSPLY TRIAD 2000 VLC Light Curing Unit must be performed bytrained DENTSPLY Trubyte Dealer Service personnel, or by DENTSPLY.

3. The DENTSPLY TRIAD 2000 VLC Light Curing Unit must not be subjected to abuse, improp-er installation, or application.

4. Damage due to improper return packaging will not be covered.

TRIAD II owners should follow operating proce-dures and material curing times given for the TRIAD2000 unit, and use the following sightline instruc-tions specific to the TRIAD II Curing Unit.

USING THE TRIAD II ‘SIGHTLINE’ To insure optimum processing cycles in theTRIAD II Unit, the turntable should be positioned toalign the lowest point of the TRIAD VLC Materialbeing used to 1/4’’(6.3 mm) below the metal-tab,white sightlines located on either side of theturntable.

INFORMATIONS IMPORTANTESAPPAREIL TRIAD :

Ne pas couvrir le plateau tournant Triad 2000. L’appareil depolymérisation Triad 2000 VLC est conçu pour la polyméri-sation des éléments suivants :

1) Matériau Triad,2) Matériau Triad sur matériau Triad déjà polymérisé, ou3) Matériau Triad sur prothèses acryliques précédemmentfabriquées.

Du fait que de la chaleur est générée dans le cadre du proces-sus de polymérisation, certains matériaux thermoplastiquespeuvent mollir et se déformer. Traiter avec précaution lesmélanges de métal et de plastique, les rebasages de prothèsesinférieures partielles et les matériaux de plaque base thermo-plastiques. La déformation peut être évitée en divisant letemps de polymérisation total en segments interrompus afinde permettre le refroidissement.

DENTSPLY recommande une stérilisation routinière duplateau tournant. Retirer le plateau tournant de l’appareil,puis immerger ou vaporiser avec un désinfectant de surface.Le plateau tournant Triad 2000 peut être passé à l’autoclavejusqu’à environ 100 cycles, selon les tests internes.

Ne pas utiliser l’appareil avec le plateau tournant vers le bas.

Ne pas utiliser l’appareil à une température supérieure à 200˚F (93,3 ˚C) ou inférieure à 50 ˚F (10 ˚C).

Ne rien placer sur l’appareil susceptible de bloquer le venti-lateur. Laisser un espace d’au moins 2 po. (5,4 cm) au-dessusde l’appareil afin d’assurer une aération correcte.

DEBALLAGE ET INSTALLATION

NE PAS CONNECTER LE CORDOND’ALIMENTATION SUR LA PRISE ACE STADE.

1. Sortir l’appareil du carton d’emballage et leplacer dans l’emplacement d’utilisationsouhaité.

2. Ouvrir la porte de la chambre de polymérisa-tion et déballer.REMARQUE : conserver le matérield’expédition et d’emballage. Si l’appareilTriad 2000 vient à nécessiter une opéra-tion de maintenance, l’utilisateur estresponsable de son acheminement entoute sécurité* à Dentsply. Il est doncpréférable de conserver le carton d’ex-pédition et le matériel d’emballage d’o-rigine.

3. Connecter le cordon d’ALIMENTATION surune source d’alimentation adéquate.

4. Mettre l’interrupteur sur ON (MARCHE).Le ventilateur de refroidissement doit fonc-tionner.

5. Avec la porte d’accès fermée, régler le cad-ran de réglage du MINUTEUR sur 1 minute.Mettre le commutateur de POLYMERISA-TION sur MARCHE. La lampe doit êtreallumée.

6. Mettre le commutateur de PLATEAU surMARCHE. Le plateau doit tourner.

UTILISATION DE LA « LIGNE VISUELLE » Afin d’assurer une polymérisation optimale detous les matériaux Triad, il est important de position-ner l’appareil Triad à la bonne hauteur dans la cham-bre de polymérisation. Dans l’appareil Triad 2000, laligne visuelle d’alignement est le bord le plus bas dela porte d’accès de la lampe. (Se reporter aux Figures2 et 3.) Le plateau tournant doit se trouver environ unquart de pouce (0,64 cm) sous cette ligne visuelle(créée par le bord inférieur de la porte d’accès de lalampe). Il suffit d’utiliser le bouton de levage pourélever ou abaisser l’appareil à polymériser dans cetteplage. Pour une polymérisation optimale, le pointmédian de l’appareil doit être aligné avec la lignevisuelle.

PROCEDURES DE POLYMERISA-TION1. Placer la pièce à polymériser au centre du plateautournant.

2. Régler la hauteur du plateau tournant en utilisantle bouton de levage (sur le dessus) et la « lignevisuelle » de polymérisation optimale présentéedans les Figures 2 et 3 pour une photopolymérisa-tion maximale.

3. Bien fermer la porte d’accès de la chambre. REMARQUE : ouvrir et fermer la porte de la

chambre de polymérisation en utilisantla moitié ou le tiers supérieur du bordde la bride pour les doigts sur la droitede la porte. Si la porte n’est pas cor-rectement fermée, le commutateur deverrouillage ne s’enclenche pas en hautde la porte, empêchant ainsi la lampede fonctionner.

4. Mettre le commutateur d’ALIMENTATION surMARCHE.

5. Tourner le MINUTEUR sur l’intervalle de tempsde polymérisation souhaité. (Voir la section «Temps de polymérisation des matériaux recom-mandés ».)

6. Appuyer sur les commutateurs POLYMERISERet PLATEAU pour activer la rotation du plateautournant et la lampe. La lampe s’éteint automa-tiquement lorsque le cycle de polymérisation estterminé.

REMARQUE : si un cycle de temps depolymérisation doit être interrompu,remettre le commutateur de POLY-MERISATION sur OFF (ARRET).Poursuivre la polymérisation de lapièce en mettant le commutateur dePOLYMERISATION sur ON(MARCHE), ce qui entraîne un nou-veau cycle complet comme indiqué parle MINUTEUR.

7. Ouvrir la porte d’accès de la chambre et retirer lapièce de la chambre de polymérisation.

8. Lorsque le ventilateur a refroidi la chambre depolymérisation (environ 5 minutes), mettre lecommutateur d’alimentation sur OFF (ARRET).

IMPORTANT:Dans les temps de travail pratiques, terminer lapolymérisation des matériaux Triad n’est pas possi-ble à l’aide d’appareils de photopolymérisation por-tatif développés pour l’odontologie conservatriceclinique. Par conséquent, avec des procédures néces-sitant l’utilisation d’une lumière portative pourétablir un durcissement initial, le travail doit alorsêtre polymérisé pendant le temps minimum recom-mandé dans un appareil de photopolymérisationTriad VLC. C’est le seul moyen d’assurer les pro-priétés physiques maximales du matériau Triad util-isé.

AVERTISSEMENT : Une lentille de protection couvrant la lampedevient chaude en cours de polymérisation. Evitertout contact à tout moment pour empêcher lesbrûlures.

RETRAIT DU COMPOSANT ETREMPLACEMENT DE LA LAMPE

1. Lorsque la lampe grille, débrancher le cordon del’alimentation secteur.

2. Ouvrir la porte d’accès de la lampe pour exposerles fils de connexion de la lampe qui sont reliés àl’arrière du corps de la lampe.

ATTENTION :La lampe fonctionne sous pression et à une tem-pérature élevée. Elle peut éclater ou tomber enpanne spécialement si l’appareil est secoué ous’il tombe lorsque la lampe est en marche.Cette lampe de polymérisation est une exclusiv-ité de l’appareil Triad 2000. Utiliser uniquementla lampe indiquée pour cet appareil (N° de com-mande 70353). L’utilisation d’une lampeinadéquate ou de matériel défectueux peutentraîner l’éclatement susceptible de causer desblessures et/ou d’endommager le matériel.La lampe peut être CHAUDE du fait de son util-isation. Laisser la lampe refroidir à températureambiante, environ 10 minutes, avant de procéderau remplacement.

3. Retirer soigneusement la douille de la lampe del’arrière de la lampe. Voir Figure 4.

4. Dévisser les trois vis moletées et retirer le bour-relet de la lampe (anneau) et la lampe.

5. La lampe de remplacement et autres piècesdoivent être remontés en reprenant la procédurede démontage, mais dans l’ordre inverse.

6. Remettre la porte d’accès de la lampe dans saposition d’origine et serrer les vis de serrage.

7. Le disjoncteur sur le côté de l’appareil peut s’êtredéclenché. Réinitialiser le disjoncteur en le met-tant en position encastrée.

8. Fermer la porte d’accès et actionner l’éclairagede la lampe en appuyant sur le bouton de POLY-MERISATION.

9. Lorsque l’unité a été remontée et la porte d’accèsfermée, actionner l’appareil en lançant un cyclede polymérisation test afin de vérifier si la lampefonctionne correctement.

REMARQUE : la lampe ne fonctionnera pas sila porte de la chambre d’accès est enposition ouverte.

MAINTENANCE

Aucune opération inhabituelle de maintenancen’est requise. L’appareil doit seulement être protégécontre toute poussière et autres débris excessifs.

Utiliser si nécessaire un tuyau à vide ou à air com-primé pour enlever délicatement la poussière ou lesdébris du filtre optique et du plateau tournant.

Afin de faciliter le nettoyage, le plateau tournantva se soulever de son support moteur. Il peut êtreimmergé ou vaporisé à l’aide d’un désinfectant desurface. Noter également que le plateau tournantTriad 2000 peut subir en toute sécurité jusqu’à 100cycles d’autoclave.

Au besoin, nettoyer le boîtier à l’aide d’un savondoux ou d’un désinfectant de surface. Eviter les com-posants de nettoyage abrasifs.

PRECAUTIONS :• Empêcher toute pénétration de liquides dans l’ap-pareil, particulièrement depuis le haut.

• Débrancher le cordon d’alimentation avant deprocéder à toute opération de maintenance.

Les pièces seront remplacées ou réparées en fonction de notre appréci-ation. INFORMAZIONI IMPORTANTI

UNITÀ TRIAD:Non coprire il piatto girevole dell’unità Triad 2000. L’Unitàdi fotopolimerizzazione VLC Triad 2000 è progettata per lapolimerizzazione di:

1) Materiale Triad,2) Materiale Triad su Materiale Triad già polimerizzato,

oppure3) Materiale Triad su protesi in resina acrilica fabbricate

precedentemente.

A causa del calore generato durante il processo di polimeriz-zazione, alcuni materiali termoplastici possono ammorbidirsie deformarsi. Agire con cautela in caso di combinazioni dimetallo e plastica, ribasature di protesi parziali dell'arcatainferiore e materiali di base termoplastici per protesi. È pos-sibile evitare le distorsioni dividendo il tempo totale dipolimerizzazione in segmenti separati per consentire il raf-freddamento.

DENTSPLY consiglia di sterilizzare il piatto girevole conregolarità. Rimuovere il piatto girevole dall’unità, quindiimmergerlo o spruzzarlo con un disinfettante per superfici. Ilpiatto girevole dell’unità Triad 2000 può essere trattato inautoclave per un massimo di circa 100 cicli, secondo i testinterni.

Non utilizzare l’unità con il piatto girevole abbassato.

Non utilizzare l’unità a temperature superiori a 200°F(93,3°C) o inferiori a 50°F (10°C).

Non collocare sopra l’unità oggetti che occludano l’aerazionedella ventola. Lasciare uno spazio minimo di 2” sopra l’unitàper consentire un’aerazione adeguata.

Il simbolo del fulmine con punta di freccia all’internodi un triangolo equilatero avvisa l’utente della presen-za di “tensione pericolosa” non isolata all’internodella struttura del prodotto, di intensità sufficiente acostituire pericolo di folgorazione per le persone.

Il punto esclamativo all’interno di un triangolo equi-latero avvisa l’utente della presenza di istruzioniimportanti di funzionamento e manutenzione(riparazione) nella documentazione annessa all’ap-parecchio.

2000DESCRIZIONE GENERALE E SPECIFICHE L’Unità di fotopolimerizzazione Dentsply Triad2000 è uno strumento di precisione, realizzato con imigliori materiali e manodopera attenendosi a severespecifiche. Contiene controlli e componenti per lapolimerizzazione dei materiali fotoattivi a luce visi-bile Triad. L’unità è prodotta e distribuita daDentsply International Inc., York, PA, attraversorivenditori odontoiatrici autorizzati in tutto il mondo. L’Unità Dentsply Triad 2000 Unit incorpora con-trolli specifici in una piattaforma rotante con dispos-itivo di elevazione e polimerizza materiali fotoattivimediante luce visibile utilizzando una fonte di lucealogena al tungsteno. Il piatto regolabile è dotato dicontrolli selettivi per consentire la lavorazione ditutti i tipi di materiali polimerizzabili a luce visibilein diverse forme di protesi, con o senza l’uso di unmodello (impronta). Consultare la Figura 1 per la posizione dei seguen-ti controlli e componenti dell’unità:ALIMENTAZIONE:

PIATTO GIREVOLE: Il piatto girevole viene soll-evato e abbassato dalla manopola di soll-evamento in posizione superiore. Il piattogirevole si alza e si abbassa fino ai puntidi arresto interni. La rotazione del piattogirevole è azionata da un motoriduttore a6 giri/min. La rotazione è attivata dall’in-terruttore del piatto.

CAMERA DI POLIMERIZZAZIONE: Contieneuna lampada alogena riflettente a tung-steno, ad alta potenza e con angolazionespeciale, che proietta una luce ottimaleper la fotopolimerizzazione sullaposizione del piatto girevole. La lampadaè installata in modo da poter essere smon-tata agevolmente.

VENTOLA DI RAFFREDDAMENTO: Una vento-la da 12 W, 115 V si attiva quando l’in-terruttore di alimentazione è in posizioneON, raffreddando l’alloggiamento dellalampada e la camera di polimerizzazione.

Se saranno neces-sarie riparazioni sull’unità Triad 2000,l’operatore è responsabile della spedi-zione in sicurezza* a Dentsply. Il migliormodo per procedere in questo senso è uti-lizzare il cartone e l’imballaggio origi-nali.

3. Collegare il cavo di ALIMENTAZIONE auna sorgente di alimentazione appropriata.

4. Accendere (posizione ON) l’interruttore diALIMENTAZIONE. La ventola di raffredda-mento dovrebbe entrare in funzione.

5. Con il portello di accesso chiusi, impostarel’indicatore del TIMER a 1 minuto. Premereil pulsante di POLIMERIZZAZIONE portan-dolo in posizione ON. La lampada dovrebbeaccendersi.

6. Premere il pulsante del PIATTO portandoloin posizione ON. Il piatto dovrebbe ruotare.

UTILIZZO DELLA ‘LINEA DI RIFERIMENTO’ Per assicurare una polimerizzazione di tutti iMateriali Triad, è importante collocare la protesiTriad all’altezza adeguata all’interno della camera dipolimerizzazione. Nell’unità Triad 2000, la linea diriferimento per l’allineamento è il bordo inferiore delportello di accesso alla lampada (v. le Figure 2 e 3). Il posizionamento del piatto girevole deve essereapprossimativamente un quarto di pollice (8 mm)sotto tale linea di riferimento (costituita dal bordoinferiore del portello di accesso alla lampada).Utilizzare semplicemente la manopola di solleva-mento per sollevare o abbassare la protesi dapolimerizzare entro tale intervallo. Per una polimer-izzazione ottimale, la linea mediana della protesideve essere allineata alla linea di riferimento.

PROCEDURE DI LAVORAZIONE1. Collocare il pezzo da lavorare al centro del piattogirevole.

2. Impostare l’altezza del piatto girevole usando lamanopola di sollevamento (in alto) e la “linea diriferimento” di polimerizzazione ottimale comeda Figure 2 e 3 per il massimo effetto difotopolimerizzazione.

3. Chiudere saldamente il portello di accesso allacamera.

NOTA: Aprire e chiudere il portello della cam-era di polimerizzazione usando la metào il terzo superiore del lato di manipo-lazione sulla destra del portello. Se ilportello non viene chiuso corretta-mente, non verrà azionato l’interruttoredi interblocco nella parte superiore delportello e la lampada non si azionerà.

4. Premere l’interruttore di ALIMENTAZIONEportandolo in posizione ON.

5. Ruotare il TIMER sull’intervallo di tempo dilavorazione desiderato (v. la sezione “Tempi dilavorazione consigliati per i materiali”).

6. Premere i pulsanti POLIMERIZZAZIONE ePIATTO per attivare la lampada e la rotazione delpiatto girevole. La lampada si spegnerà automati-camente una volta completato il ciclo di lavo-razione.

NOTA: Se il ciclo del tempo di lavorazionedovesse interrompersi, riportare l’inter-ruttore POLIMERIZZAZIONE suOFF. Continuare la lavorazione delpezzo riportando l’interruttorePOLIMERIZZAZIONE su ON, il chedarà l'avvio a un nuovo ciclo completocome indicato dal TIMER.

7. Aprire il portello di accesso alla camera e rimuo-vere il pezzo dalla camera di lavorazione.

8. Una volta che la ventola ha terminato di raffred-dare la camera di lavorazione (circa 5 minuti),portare l’interruttore di alimentazione su OFF.

IMPORTANTE: Entro tempi di lavoro pratici, non è possibile avereuna lavorazione completa dei Materiali Triad usandodispositivi di fotopolimerizzazione manuali svilup-pati per la pratica odontoiatrica clinica ricostruttiva.Pertanto, nelle procedure che richiedono l’uso di unaluce manuale per avere una prima stabilizzazione, illavoro dovrà poi essere completato per il tempo min-imo consigliato un un’Unità di fotopolimerizzazioneTriad VLC. Solo in questo modo potranno essereassicurate le proprietà fisiche complete del MaterialeTriad utilizzato.

AVVERTENZA:La lente protettiva che copre la lampada raggiungetemperature elevate durante la lavorazione.Evitare sempre il contatto per evitare ustioni.

ATTENZIONE:Assicurarsi di scollegare l’alimentazione elettricadall’unità prima di eseguire la manutenzione.

RIMOZIONE DEI COMPONENTI ESOSTITUZIONE DELLA LAMPADA

1. Se la lampada si brucia, scollegare il cavo dallapresa di alimentazione elettrica.

2. Aprire il portello di accesso alla lampada inmodo da scoprire i cavi del connettore della lam-pada collegati alla parte posteriore dell’alloggia-mento della lampada.

ATTENZIONE:La lampada opera in pressione e ad alta temper-atura e può infrangersi o guastarsi specialmentese l’unità viene urtata o cade quando la lampadaè accesa.La lampada di polimerizzazione è specifica perl’unità Triad 2000. Usare esclusivamente la lam-pada specificata per questa unità (Codice pezzodi ricambio: 70353). L’uso di lampade non adat-te o l’uso di equipaggiamento difettoso puòportare la lampada a infrangersi, il che puòprovocare lesioni alle persone e/o danni alleapparecchiature.Dopo essere stata utilizzata, la lampada puòessere ROVENTE. Lasciare raffreddare la lam-pada fino a temperatura ambiente, circa per 10minuti, prima di procedere alla sostituzione.

3. Rimuovere con cura l'alloggiamento della lampa-da dal retro della lampada. V. la Figura 4.

4. Svitare le tre viti zigrinate e rimuovere il colletto(anello) della lampada, quindi la lampada stessa.

5. La lampada di ricambio e le altre parti devonoessere rimontate in ordine inverso rispetto allosmontaggio.

6. Riportare il portello di accesso alla lampada nellaposizione originaria e serrare le viti a mano.

7. È possibile che si sia attivato l'interruttore disicurezza sul lato dell'unità. Ripristinare l’inter-ruttore di sicurezza portandolo in posizione dilavaggio.

8. Chiudere il portello di accesso e azionare l’ac-censione della lampada premendo il pulsantePOLIMERIZZAZIONE.

9. Una volta rimontata l’unità e chiuso il portello diaccesso, azionare l’unità mediante un ciclo dipolimerizzazione di prova per verificare che lalampada funzioni correttamente.

NOTA: La lampada non funzionerà se il portel-lo di accesso alla camera di polimeriz-zazione è in posizione aperta.

MANUTENZIONE

Non è richiesta manutenzione straordinaria dell’u-nità; è semplicemente necessario mantenerla liberada eccesso di polvere e residui.

Quando è indicato, usare un aspiratore o un soffiodi aria compressa per rimuovere delicatamente pol-vere e detriti dall’area del piatto girevole e dal filtroottico.

Il piatto girevole può essere sollevato dal supportomotorizzato per agevolarne la pulizia. Può essereimmerso o spruzzato con un disinfettante per super-fici. Si noti inoltre che è possibile lavare in autoclaveil piatto girevole dell’unità Triad 2000 per un massi-mo di 100 cicli.

Pulire il cabinet con un detergente non aggressivoo un disinfettante per superfici secondo quanto nec-essario. Non utilizzare composti detergenti abrasivi.

PRECAUZIONI:• Non permettere che entrino liquidi nell’unità,soprattutto dal lato superiore.

• Scollegare il cavo di alimentazione prima dieseguire interventi di manutenzione.

L’unità di fotopolimerizzazione Dentsply TRIAD® 2000 VLC è progettata per il solo uso odon-toiatrico; la presente garanzia non è applicabile ad altri usi. L’unità di fotopolimerizzazione DentsplyTRIAD 2000 VLC, con l’eccezione della lampada, è garantita priva di difetti di materiali e manod-opera per un periodo di 24 mesi dalla data d’acquisto. I componenti saranno riparati o sostituiti a nos-tra discrezione. La lampada dell’unità di fotopolimerizzazione Dentsply TRIAD VLC è garantita per30 giorni. La presente garanzia è estesa al solo acquirente originario ed è soggetta alle seguenti con-dizioni:

1. la Scheda di registrazione della garanzia deve essere compilata e rispedita a DENTSPLY entrodue settimane dalla data di installazione;

APPENDICE I: FUNZIONAMENTO DI TRIAD II

I proprietari di TRIAD II dovranno seguire le pro-cedure operative e i tempi di polimerizzazione deimateriali per l’unità TRIAD 2000 e utilizzare leseguenti istruzioni relative alla linea di riferimentospecifiche per l’Unità di polimerizzazione TRIAD II.

UTILIZZO DELLA ‘LINEA DI RIFER-IMENTO’ DI TRIAD II Per assicurare cicli di lavorazione ottimalinell’Unità TRIAD II, il piatto girevole deve essereposizionato in modo da allineare il punto più bassodel Materiale TRIAD VLC 1/4’’(6,3 mm) sotto lelinee di riferimento a linguetta metallica sui due latidel piatto girevole.

Usare le manopole di controllo per la regolazionedi altezza sui due lati dell’Unità di polimerizzazioneTRIAD II per allineare il materiale all’interno dellacamera. Vedere l’illustrazione seguente.

WICHTIGE INFORMATION

TRIAD-GERÄT:Den Triad 2000-Drehteller nicht abdecken. Das Triad 2000VLC-Polymerisationsgerät ist für das Aushärten der folgen-den Materialien zu verwenden:

1) Triad-Material,

2) Triad-Material zu bereits gehärtetem Triad-Material, oder

3) Triad-Material zu vorherig hergestellten Acrylprothesen.

Einige thermoplastische Materialien können durch die beidem Aushärteprozess entstehende Wärme erweichen und sichverformen. Bei dem Umgang mit Kombinationen von Metallund Kunststoff, Unterfütterungen von unteren Teilprothesenund thermoplastischen Prothesenmaterialien sorgfältig vorge-hen. Verformung kann vermieden werden, wenn die gesamtePolymerisationszeit in unterbrochene Segmente aufgeteiltwird, um eine Abkühlung zu ermöglichen.

DENTSPLY empfiehlt eine routinemäßige Sterilisierung desDrehtellers. Drehteller von dem Gerät abnehmen und dannmit einem Oberflächendesinfektionsmittel einsprühen oderdarin tränken. Der Triad 2000-Drehteller kann für bis zuungefähr 100 Zyklen autoklaviert werden, was auf internenTest basiert.

Das Dentsply Triad 2000-Polymerisationsgerät istein Präzisionsgerät, das nach genauen Angaben aushochwertigen Materialien und unter Beachtunghöchster Verarbeitungsqualität hergestellt wurde. Esumfasst Steuerelemente und Komponenten für diePolymerisation von lichthärtendem Material. DasGerät wird von Dentsply International Inc., York, PA,hergestellt und von Vertragshändlern weltweit ver-trieben. Das Dentsply Triad 2000-Gerät verfügt mit einemDrehteller und einer Liftvorrichtung über spezielleSteuerelemente und polymerisiert lichthärtendeMaterialien mit einer Wolfram-Halogenlampe. Dereinstellbare Teller verfügt über selektiveSteuerelemente, um die Verarbeitung von allenTypen lichthärtenden Materials in verschiedenenFormen mit oder ohne Verwendung eines Modells zuermöglichen. AUSPACKEN UND INSTALLA-TION

VERWENDUNG DER ‘SICHTLINIE’ Um eine optimale Aushärtung aller Triad-Materialien zu erzielen, ist es wichtig, die Triad-Anwendung innerhalb der Polymerisationskammerin der korrekten Höhe zu positionieren. Bei demTriad 2000-Gerät ist die Ausrichtungslinie der unter-ste Rand der Lampenzugangstür. (Siehe Abbildung 2und 3) Die Stellung des Drehtellers sollte etwa 6,3 mmunterhalb dieser Sichtlinie (die durch den unterenRand der Lampenzugangstür entsteht) sein. Einfachden Knopf für den Liftvorrichtung betätigen, um dieProthese innerhalb dieses Bereichs anzuheben bzw.abzusenken. Für eine optimale Aushärtung sollte derMittelpunkt der Anwendung mit der Sichtlinie übere-instimmen.

VERARBEITUNGSVERFAHREN1. 1. Zu verarbeitendes Werkstück in die Mitte

des Drehtellers platzieren.2. Höhe des Drehtellers mit dem Liftknopf (oben)

und die in den Abbildungen 2 und 3 dargestellteoptimale Sichtlinie für die maximale Aushärtungeinstellen.

3. Zugangstür zur Kammer fest verschließen. HINWEIS: Zum Öffnen und Schließen der

Zugangstür der Polymerisationkammerdie oberste Hälfte bis oberstes Drittelder Griffkante an der rechten Seite derTür verwenden. Bei nicht korrekt ver-schlossener Tür wird derVerriegelungsschalter der Tür nichtaktiviert und die Lampe somit nichtbetrieben.

4. NETZSCHALTER auf EIN schalten.5. TIMER auf gewünschtes

Verarbeitungszeitintervall einstellen. (Siehe denAbschnitt "Materialverarbeitungszeiten".)

6. Die Schalter CURE und TABLE betätigen, umdie Lampe und die Drehung des Drehtellers zuaktivieren. Die Lampe wird bei Beendung desVerarbeitungszyklus automatisch ausgeschaltet.

HINWEIS: Bei Unterbrechung einesVerarbeitungszyklus CURE-Schalterauf OFF schalten. Verarbeitung desWerkstücks durch Betätigung desSchalters CURE auf die Position ONfortsetzen, wodurch, wie vom TIMERangezeigt, ein neuer vollständigerZyklus gestartet wird.

7. Zugangstür öffnen und Werkstück aus derVerarbeitungskammer entnehmen.

8. Wenn der Lüfter die Verarbeitungskammerabgekühlt hat (etwa 5 Minuten), den Netzschalterauf OFF schalten.

WICHTIGER HINWEIS: Triad-Materialien können nicht innerhalb vonpraktikablen Arbeitszeiten mit Lichtpistolen, die fürdie restaurative Zahntechnik verwendet werden,vollständig verarbeitet werden. Daher müssen beiVerfahren, die für eine initiale Abbindung eineLichtpistole erfordern, diese Arbeiten daraufhin fürdie empfohlenen Mindestzeiten in einem Triad VLC-Polymerisationsgerät verarbeitet werden. Nur aufdiese Weise können die maximalen physikalischenEigenschaften des verwendeten Triad-Materialssichergestellt werden.

WARNHINWEIS:Während der Verarbeitung wird die Schutzlinseder Lampe heiß. Jederzeit Kontakt vermeiden, umVerbrennungen vorzubeugen.

ENTFERNUNG UND AUSTAUSCHDER GLÜHLAMPE

1. Wenn die Lampe durchbrennt, Netzkabel aus derSteckdose ziehen.

2. Lampenzugangstür öffnen, um dieLampenverbindungskabel zu erreichen, die aufder Rückseite des Lampengehäuses angebrachtsind.

ACHTUNG:Die Lampe wird unter Druck und bei hohenTemperaturen betrieben und kann zerbrechenoder ausfallen, besonders wenn das Gerät beieingeschalteter Lampe erschüttert oder fallengelassen wird.Diese Aushärtelampe ist nur für das Triad 2000-Gerät geeignet. Verwenden Sie nur die für diesesGerät bestimmte Lampe (Nachbestellnummer70353). Die Verwendung von ungeeignetenLampen oder fehlerhaften Geräten kann zueinem Zerspringen der Lampe und zuVerletzungen und/oder Schäden an den Gerätenführen.Die Lampe kann von dem Gebrauch HEISS sein.Vor dem Austausch etwa 10 Minuten aufRaumtemperatur abkühlen lassen.

3. Lampenfassung auf der Rückseite der Lampevorsichtig abnehmen. Siehe Abbildung 4

4. Die drei Rändelschrauben lösen und Lampenhalsund Lampe abnehmen.

5. Die Ersatzlampe und weitere Teile müssen in derumgekehrten Reihenfolge eingebaut werden wiebei dem Ausbau.

6. Lampenzugangstür in die ursprüngliche Positionstellen und Rändelschreiben festziehen.

7. Der Trennschalter an der Geräteseite wurdemöglicherweise aktiviert. Trennschalter zurück-setzen durch Drücken in die niedergedrücktePosition.

8. Zugangstür schließen und Lampenbeleuchtungdurch Betätigung des CURE-Schaltersaktivieren.

9. Wenn das Gerät zusammengebaut und dieZugangstür geschlossen ist, einen Testzyklus mitdem Gerät durchführen, um das korrekteFunktionieren der Lampe zu überprüfen.

HINWEIS: Die Lampe funktioniert nicht,wenn sich die Zugangstür zur Kammerin der offenen Position befindet.

WARTUNG

Das Gerät erfordert keine ungewöhnlichenWartungsarbeiten, außer es frei von übermäßigemStaub und Schmutz zu halten. Wenn erforderlich, einen Vakuum- oderDruckluftschlauch verwenden, um Staub undSchmutz vom optischen Filter und demDrehtellerbereich vorsichtig zu entfernen. Der Drehteller lässt sich von dem Motor abheben,um das Reinigen zu erleichtern. Er kann mit einemOberflächendesinfektionsmittel eingesprüht oderdarin getränkt werden. Beachten Sie auch, dass derTriad 2000-Drehteller für bis zu ungefähr 100Zyklen autoklaviert werden kann. Gehäuse mit einer milden Seife oderOberflächendesinfektionsmittel reinigen.Abschleifende Reinigungsgemische vermeiden.

Das DENTSPLY TRIAD® 2000 VLC-Polymerisationsgerät ist ausschließlich für den Einsatz imzahntechnischen Bereich vorgesehen, und diese Garantie entfällt bei jeder anderen Verwendung. DieGarantie des DENTSPLY TRIAD® 2000 VLC-Polymerisationsgeräts erstreckt sich aufFehlerfreiheit in Material und Verarbeitung für den Zeitraum von 24 Monaten ab Verkaufsdatum.Teile werden nach Ermessen von DENTSPLY entweder repariert oder ersetzt. Die Dentsply TRIADVLC Aushärtelampe verfügt über eine Garantie von 30 Tagen. Diese Garantie gilt nur für denErstkäufer und unterliegt folgenden Bedingungen:

1. Die Garantiekarte muss innerhalb von zwei Wochen nach dem Installationsdatum ausgefülltund an DENTSPLY zurückgeschickt werden.

2. Servicearbeiten am DENTSPLY TRIAD® 2000 VLC-Polymerisationsgerät müssen vongeschultem DENTSPLY Händler-Service-Personal oder von DENTSPLY vorgenommen werden.

TRIAD II-Benutzer müssen die für das TRIAD 2000angegebenen Betriebsverfahren undMaterialaushärtungszeiten befolgen und die folgendenspeziell für das TRIAD 2000-Polymerisationsgerätentwickelten Sichtlinienvorschriften anwenden.

VERWENDUNG DER ‘SICHTLINIE’Um optimale Verarbeitungszeiten in dem TRIAD

II-Gerät sicherzustellen, sollte der Drehteller denuntersten Punkt für das verwendete TRIAD VLC-Material auf 6,3 mm unterhalb der Metallplatte ein-stellen, mit weißen Sichtlinien auf beiden Seiten desDrehtellers.

INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTEN

UNIDAD TRIAD:No cubra la plataforma giratoria Triad 2000. La unidad depolimerización por luz visible Triad 2000 está destinada apolimerizar lo siguiente:

1) Material Triad2) Material Triad en material Triad ya polimerizado3) Material Triad en prótesis acrílicas ya fabricadas.

Como el calor se genera como parte del proceso de polimer-ización, algunos materiales termoplásticos pueden ablandarsey distorsionarse. Debe tenerse cuidado cuando se manejencombinaciones de metal y plástico, rebasados de prótesisdentales parciales inferiores y materiales termoplásticos de labase de la prótesis dental. Se puede evitar la distorsión si sedivide el tiempo de polimerización en segmentos interrumpi-dos para dejar que se enfríen.

DENTSPLY recomienda que se esterilice la plataforma gira-toria de manera rutinaria. Retire la plataforma giratoria de launidad y, a continuación, sumérjala en un desinfectante parasuperficies o pulverícela con él. La plataforma giratoria Triad2000 se puede esterilizar en autoclave hasta unos 100 ciclos,según las pruebas internas.

No use la unidad si la plataforma giratoria no funciona.

No use la unidad a una temperatura superior a 200 °F (93,3°C) o inferior a 50 °F (10 °C).

No coloque nada encima de la unidad que pueda bloquear elventilador. Deje un espacio mínimo de 5 cm por encima de launidad para que se ventile correctamente.

El símbolo de relámpago con una cabeza de flechadentro de un triángulo equilátero está destinado aalertar al usuario de la presencia de “voltaje peli-groso” sin aislamiento dentro de la carcasa del pro-ducto con una magnitud suficiente como para supon-er un riesgo de descarga eléctrica a las personas.

El símbolo de exclamación dentro de un triánguloequilátero está destinado a alertar al usuario de lapresencia de instrucciones de funcionamiento y man-tenimiento (reparación) en la documentación queacompaña al aparato.

DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL Y ESPECIFICACIONES DE LAUNIDAD DE POLIMERIZACIÓN POR LUZ TRIAD® 2000

La unidad de polimerización por luz Triad 2000 deDentsply es una unidad diseñada con precisión, fab-ricada siguiendo rigurosas especificaciones y conmateriales y mano de obra de máxima calidad.Contiene controles y componentes para polimerizarmateriales activados mediante luz visible de Triad.La unidad se fabrica y distribuye en DentsplyInternational Inc., York, PA a través de distribuidoresde productos dentales autorizados de todo el mundo. La unidad Triad 2000 de Dentsply incorpora deter-minados controles con una plataforma giratoria y unelevador, y polimeriza materiales activados medianteluz visible con una fuente de luz halógena de tung-steno. La plataforma ajustable incluye controles deselección para el procesamiento de todos los tipos dematerial de polimerización por luz visible en difer-entes formas de aparatos, con o sin el uso de un mod-elo (molde). Vea la Figura 1 para conocer la ubicación de lossiguientes controles y componentes de la unidad:ALIMENTACIÓN ELÉCTRICA: Interruptor de

encendido/apagado. Pone en fun-cionamiento el ventilador.

PLATAFORMA: Activa la rotación de la platafor-ma.

POLIMERIZACIÓN: Interruptor de

encendido/apagado. Activa la lámpara sila puerta de acceso está cerrada. (La puer-ta de acceso activa el interruptor del dis-positivo de seguridad.)

TEMPORIZADOR: El selector del temporizadorde rotación programa el tiempo de proce-samiento.

PLATAFORMA GIRATORIA: La plataformagiratoria se sube y se baja mediante elmando de elevación montado en la partesuperior. La plataforma giratoria subirá obajará hasta alcanzar topes internos. Larotación de la plataforma giratoria seacciona mediante un motor que funcionaa 6 rpm. La rotación se activa con el inter-ruptor de la plataforma.

CÁMARA DE POLIMERIZACIÓN: Contiene unalámpara reflectante halógena de tung-steno de alta potencia con un ánguloespecial que proyecta una luzfotopolimerizadora óptima sobre laplataforma giratoria. El montaje de lalámpara es sencillo para facilitar su susti-tución.

VENTILADOR: Cuando se activa el interruptor deencendido, se acciona un ventilador de 12vatios y 115 V que enfría la carcasa de lalámpara y la cámara de polimerización.

DESEMBALAJE E INSTALACIÓN

NO CONECTE EL CABLE DE ALI-MENTACIÓN A LA TOMA DE CORRI-ENTE EN ESTE MOMENTO.

1. Saque la unidad de la caja de envío ycolóquela en la ubicación de uso deseada.

2. Abra la puerta de la cámara de procesamien-to y retire el material de embalaje.

NOTA: Ahorre en materiales de envío yembalaje. Si necesita reparar la unidad Triad2000 en cualquier momento, será el respons-able de volver a enviarla de manera segura*a Dentsply. Esto se consigue mejor si se usanlos materiales de envío y embalaje origi-nales.

3. Conecte el cable de alimentación a una fuentede suministro eléctrico adecuada.

4. Coloque el interruptor de ENCENDIDO en laposición ON (encendido). El ventilador debeponerse en funcionamiento.

5. Cierre la puerta de acceso y establezca elselector del TEMPORIZADOR en 1 minuto.Coloque el interruptor de POLIMER-IZACIÓN en la posición ON (encendido). Lalámpara debe encenderse.

6. Coloque el interruptor de PLATAFORMA enla posición ON (encendido). La plataformadebe girar.

USO DE LA LÍNEA DE VISIÓN Para garantizar una polimerización óptima detodos los materiales Triad, es importante colocar elaparato Triad a una altura adecuada dentro de lacámara de polimerización. En la unidad Triad 2000,la línea de visión de alineación se encuentra en elborde inferior de la puerta de acceso de la lámpara.(Consulte las figuras 2 y 3.) La plataforma giratoria debe colocarse aproxi-madamente a 6 milímetros por debajo de esta líneade visión (creada por el borde inferior de la puerta deacceso de la lámpara). Sólo tiene que usar el mandode elevación para subir o bajar el aparato parapolimerizar dentro de este intervalo. El punto inter-medio del aparato debe estar alineado con la línea devisión para conseguir una polimerización óptima.

PROCEDIMIENTOS DE PROCE-SAMIENTO1. Coloque la pieza que va a procesar en el centro de

la plataforma giratoria.2. Defina la altura de la plataforma giratoria medi-

ante el mando de elevación (en la parte superior)y la línea de visión de polimerización óptima quese muestra en las figuras 2 y 3 para conseguir unamáxima polimerización por luz.

3. Cierre bien la puerta de acceso a la cámara. NOTA: Abra y cierre la puerta de la cámara de

polimerización con la parte situadaentre la mitad y el tercio superior deltirador situado a la derecha de la puerta.Si la puerta no se cierra bien, no se acti-vará el interruptor de seguridad de laparte superior de la puerta y la lámparano funcionará.

4. Coloque el interruptor de ENCENDIDO en laposición ON (encendido).

5. Gire el TEMPORIZADOR hasta colocarlo en elintervalo de tiempo de procesamiento deseado.(Consulte la sección “Tiempos de procesamientode materiales recomendados”.)

6. Pulse los interruptores de POLIMERIZACIÓN yPLATAFORMA para encender la lámpara y acti-var la rotación de la plataforma. La lámpara seapagará automáticamente cuando termine el ciclode procesamiento.

NOTA: Si se tuviera que interrumpir un ciclo detiempo de procesamiento, coloque elinterruptor de POLIMERIZACIÓN enla posición OFF (apagado). Parareanudar el procesamiento de la pieza,coloque el interruptor de POLIMER-IZACIÓN en la posición ON (encendi-do) y se iniciará un nuevo ciclo comple-to, según lo indique el TEMPO-RIZADOR.

7. Abra la puerta de acceso a la cámara y saque lapieza de la cámara de procesamiento.

8. Cuando el ventilador haya enfriado la cámara deprocesamiento (en unos 5 minutos), coloque elinterruptor de encendido en la posición OFF(apagado).

IMPORTANTE: Mientras se esté usando el aparato, no se podrárealizar un procesamiento completo de los materialesTriad con dispositivos de polimerización por luzportátiles desarrollados para odontología restaurado-ra. Por tanto, en el caso de procedimientos querequieran el uso de una luz portátil para realizar unasolidificación inicial, deberá procesarse el trabajodurante el tiempo mínimo recomendado en unaunidad de polimerización por luz visible Triad. Sóloasí se podrán garantizar al máximo las propiedadesfísicas del material Triad utilizado.

ADVERTENCIA:La lente protectora que cubre la lámpara se calien-ta durante el procesamiento. Evite el contacto entodo momento para evitar quemaduras.

RETIRADA DE COMPONENTES YSUSTITUCIÓN DE LA LÁMPARA

1. Cuando se funda la lámpara, desenchufe el cablede la toma eléctrica.

2. Abra la puerta de acceso a la lámpara para expon-er los cables del conector de la lámpara que estánconectados a la parte posterior de la carcasa de lalámpara.

PRECAUCIÓN: La lámpara funciona bajo presión y a una tem-peratura elevada y puede estallar o fallar espe-cialmente si la unidad se sacude o se cae mientrasla lámpara está encendida. Esta lámpara de polimerización es exclusivapara la unidad Triad 2000. Use únicamente lalámpara específica para esta unidad (nº ref.70353). Un uso incorrecto de la lámpara o el usode equipos defectuosos puede hacer estallar lalámpara y provocar lesiones personales y/o dañosen el equipo.La lámpara se puede CALENTAR por el uso.Deje enfriar la lámpara a temperatura ambientedurante unos 10 minutos antes de sustituirla.

3. Retire con cuidado el enchufe de la lámpara de laparte posterior de la misma. Vea la Figura 4.

4. Afloje los tres tornillos estriados y retire casquil-lo de la lámpara (anillo) y la lámpara.

5. La lámpara de recambio y otras piezas se puedenvolver a montar siguiendo el orden inverso dedesmontaje.

6. Coloque la puerta de acceso a la lámpara en suposición y apriete el tornillo de mariposa.

7. Se puede activar el disyuntor situado en el lateralde la unidad. Restablézcalo pulsándolo hasta queesté alineado.

8. Cierre la puerta de acceso y encienda la lámparapulsando el interruptor de POLIMERIZACIÓN.

9. Cuando se haya vuelto a montar la unidad y cer-rado la puerta de acceso, realice un ciclo depolimerización de prueba para comprobar si lalámpara funciona correctamente.

NOTA: La lámpara no funcionará si la puertade acceso a la cámara de polimer-ización está abierta.

MANTENIMIENTO

No es necesario realizar tareas de mantenimientopoco habituales en la unidad aparte de mantenerlalimpia, sin polvo ni residuos. Si es necesario, utilice una aspiradora o unamanguera de aspiración para retirar el polvo o losresiduos del filtro óptico y la zona de la plataformagiratoria. La plataforma giratoria se puede separar delsoporte de su motor para facilitar su limpieza. Sepuede sumergir o pulverizar con un desinfectantepara superficies. Tenga en cuenta también que laplataforma giratoria Triad 2000 se puede esterilizaren autoclave hasta 100 ciclos. Limpie el armario con un jabón suave o un desin-fectante para superficies, según sea necesario. Eviteel uso de productos de limpieza abrasivos.

PRECAUCIONES:• Evite que entren líquidos en las unidades, espe-cialmente de la parte superior.

• Desconecte el cable de alimentación antes derealizar las tareas de mantenimiento.

La unidad de polimerización por luz visible TRIAD® 2000 de DENTSPLY está diseñada exclusiva-mente para uso odontológico y esta garantía no se aplica a otros usos. La unidad de polimerizaciónpor luz visible TRIAD 2000 de Dentsply, a excepción de la lámpara, está garantizada frente a defec-tos de material y fabricación durante un período de 24 meses a partir de la fecha de compra. Laspartes serán reparadas o cambiadas a nuestra discreción. La lámpara de la unidad de polimerizaciónpor luz visible TRIAD de Dentsply tiene una garantía de 30 días. Esta garantía se aplica sólo al com-prador original y está regida por las siguientes condiciones:

1. La tarjeta de registro de garantía debe cumplimentarse y enviarse a DENTSPLY en el plazode dos semanas tras la fecha de instalación.

Los propietarios de TRIAD II deben seguir lasinstrucciones de uso y los tiempos de polimerizaciónde los materiales proporcionados con la unidadTRIAD 2000, así como usar las siguientes instruc-ciones de la línea de visión específicas de la unidadde polimerización TRIAD II.

USO DE LA LÍNEA DE VISIÓN DETRIAD II TPara garantizar unos ciclos de procesamientoóptimos en la unidad TRIAD II, debe colocarse laplataforma giratoria de manera que esté alineado elpunto inferior del material de polimerización por luzvisible TRIAD que se esté utilizando a 6,3 mm pordebajo de las líneas de visión blancas de la pestañametálica situadas a cada lado de la plataforma girato-ria.

Use los mandos de control de ajuste de altura decada lado de la unidad de polimerización TRIAD IIpara alinear el material dentro de la cámara. Vea lasiguiente ilustración.
