Sensor Features

• 3 operations modes: Spatial Contrast Magnitude, Intensity, and TFS (Combined with the others).

• First event-based retina computing spatial contrast and 2 other modes.

• Pixel complexity: 42 transistors+2caps (including arbitration)

Principle of Operation: Contrast Magnitude

Each pixel photocurrent is compared to its neighbours.

If it is higher than the neighbours average value, the pixel will be able to spike.
