Why we chose the song ‘A Message To You Rudy’?

Because now its not mainstream, and modern audiences wont be listening to this song as much as other ‘pop’ music.

The music video is quite dated and we wanted to put a modern twist on it.

We felt the lyrics gave us inspriration an varied ideas.

Initial Ideas As the song is about a person who

needs to turn his life around or they’ll end up in a bad situaution. We were going to have a group of friends messing about, where they’ve got nowhere to go.

We aim for the music video be focused on the idea that teenage life is young, wild and free.

We want to create the image of a typical care free teenage day out, our purpose is to give a true representation of our intended audience.

Locations

Filming ideas In this location we had the idea that

we would have a group shot of various teenagers, girls and boys, messing around and having a good time for example kicking a football around at eachother, laughing and smiling.

This would create a clear image of care free teenage life.

We thought this was an interesting location because ther eis a lot of opportunity to experiment with different shot types, for example high and low shots.

We also felt that this part of the location is an suburban area which fits in well with the song we have chosen.
