This 2-week program combines an immersive experience in Sampere Cuenca School plus eight days travelling from the mountains to the sea and back to the mountains. Ecuador is one of the few most diverse countries in the world (out of 17, to be precise). Crossed by the Andes and bathed by the warm waters of the Pacific, almost all landscapes can be found in this country. But maybe what is more important is that its people are empathic and friendly like few others.

TrAVEL & STudY ProGrAM

This 2-week program combines Spanish classes plus eight days travelling through the mountains and the coasts of Ecuador. During the first week, Estudio Sampere Cuenca School offers an intensive course and visits to local attractions. The second week consists of a travel combining classes with adventure in Ecuador, a visit to the mountains in the heart of the Andes, to the warm Pacific coast and back to Quito to visit some of the attractions of this gorgeous city. The programme includes an intensive course in Cuenca with homestay in single room, full board, private transport to the selected destinations with half board hotel accommodation and tickets to the attractions. Minimum of 6 students.

WEEK 1 WEEK 2Travel & Study Ecuador program starts in Estudio Sampere Cuenca School, where the students will attend a 20-lesson Mini Intensive Group course. Visits to popular markets, museums and handicraft workshops for hands-on activities are scheduled from Monday to Friday.

ACCOMMODATIONWeek 1 in Cuenca, homestay, single room, full board.Week 2 of the trip, single room hotel accommodation, half board.

The experience starts on Friday when heading North in pursuit of the traces of the Incas and their famous Royal Road or Qhapaq Ñan, which we will trek. Then we will continue toward Nariz del Diablo (Devil’s Nose) one of the most charming train routes in the Andes that climbs more than three thousand metres above sea level in a few hours. There the coastal adventure begins, visiting the almost deserted warm waters beaches to enjoy the sun and the sand. We will venture to surf and kayaking, as well as visiting traditional communities taking care of the tropical forest and of the endemic animals and birds. Further on, the experience leads us to Quito by plane to visit the most impressive historical centre of Latin America and, the next day, reach the parallel zero, the Half of the World.
