Glacken University was developed by Jennifer and Dan Glacken who have over 50 years of combined training experience.

Jennifer Glacken is the CEO/President of Glacken Health & Wellness. She is originally from the east coast where she graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Foreign Affairs and Spanish. Jennifer followed her husband, Dan, to Chicago with his job at Sears back in 1992.

Her Shaklee story started that same year back in 1992 when her son David was born 3 weeks premature. His health challenges led a friend to introduce her to the Shaklee cleaning products. While skeptical, she loved her son enough to try them and she was shocked that the products made a huge difference in everyone’s health. From there, they started to “Shaklee-ize” their home and fell in love with Shaklee. Her daughter, Kelsey, was born in 1995 into a healthy home and her health has been dramatically better than David’s start.

When Dan lost his job in 1999, they decided to build a Shaklee business to fill in the gap and to pay the bills while Dan looked for another job. Jennifer fell in love with this business and never looked back even when Dan started a new career as the Senior Training Manager for the franchises for Midas International. He has since left Midas and is the Director of Operations and Training for Tuffy. He has since left Midas and is the Director of Operations and Training for Tuffy.

Mentoring people to reach their full potential is what Jennifer loves to do on a daily basis. In 2011, the Glackens reached the rank of Sr Master Coordinator, one of the top ranks in Shaklee, and are intent on building an even larger organization. Their team, Team Glacken, is a dynamic group of leaders who are very passionate about improving people’s health and their wealth.

Although Shaklee keeps her busy, Jennifer homeschooled both of her children through high school (they are currently in college), she is an ordained elder with the Presbyterian Church, and is on the leadership team of her networking group. Jennifer and Dan have been married for 22 years.
