To compliment the 130 year old federation style home, originally built for the Miss Harts (who were part of the Hart sawmilling family of Maryborough); a formal garden has been developed over the past 36 years by the current owners.

This garden is at one with the Queenslander nestled within. Mature trees and palms provide the canopy for a diverse range of plantings. Winding paths will lead you on a journey of discovery through azaleas, citrus and potted plants.

This lovely garden has a traditional Queenslander nestled within it, and has an abundance of quirky garden art in various mediums including glass, metal and wood. Plantings are very diverse and provide a haven for bees and bird life.

Located on River Road Howard, Terra Tribe is a new farm that uses the basis of permaculture to rengenerate what was a bare cow paddock into a self-sustainable food producing system.

The property is 20 acres with mostly bush except for about an acre or so. A mix of tropical plantings, cool climate plants and statutory makes this garden well worth a visit.

Every day at Yengarie Gallery and Garden is like living at a private retreat for the owners. With 3.5 acres of themed garden rooms to enjoy, you’ll find the flora always changing, artwork evolving and fauna entertaining.

The Elizabeth Park Rose Gardens was the site of Maryborough’s second official cemetery which closed in 1873. In 1921 the land was converted to a public park and is now full of beautiful roses that simply delight the senses when in full bloom.

Located at 65 Menzler Road Tinana South, the 40 acre property is set amongst blue gums and is home to donkeys, ponies, calves, lambs, chickens and goats for visitors to enjoy. The newly-established garden has many plant varieties.

ANZAC Park is a popular destination with lots of activities to share with the family. Picnic tables and BBQs spread around make it a place to spend the day.

This relatively new country garden offers the wide expanse of 3 acres with a combination of lawns and gardens against the backdrop of the Mary River.

The historic Queens Park dates back to 1866 when Maryborough’s first mayor Henry Palmer, requested that his residents have free use of land near the Maryborough wharves for recreation or public gardens.
