At long last, the arrival of novel bathroom furnishings. Kios’s TOWER collection is characterised by small, single-unit wash basin bases, able to meet frequent home and contract requirements, for example the furnishing of minimal spaces, whilst maintaining ex-tremely high levels of design alongside the precision of finishes and the continual study relative to techno-logical innovation. The result - an exceptional product which allows for the best expression of creativity in search of timeless aesthetic details.

Le basi TOWER sono disponibili in tre versioni: a terra (h.80), da appoggio (h.48), sospese (h.58). Entrambi fornite di un’unico top in resina bianca con vasca integrata. Per ottenere un arredo di grande effetto estetico con più basi affiancate, si consiglia di non unirle tra loro, bensì spaziarle di qualche decimetro, per rendere più comoda l’apertura delle ante o cassettoni con presa laterale. In questo catalogo presentiamo alcuni suggerimenti compositivi che dimostrano l’esclusività degli arredi con le basi TOWER.

The TOWER base units are available in three versions: free-standing (h.80), supported (h.48), suspended (h.58). All versions are supplied with the same white resin top, with integrated wash basin. To achieve a furniture arrangement with great impact, where multiple base units are placed side-by-side, we do not recommend placing them all together, but spacing them out at approximately a few decimetres, therefore facilitating the opening of doors and drawers with side handles. Included as part of this catalogue are some compositional sug-gestions which present the unique furnishing solutions which can be achieved with the TOWER base units.

Le basi “TOWER da appoggio” sono concepite per sormontare appositi mensoloni fissati a parete, i quali fungono anche come piani d’appoggio per oggetti e pensili. Queste soluzioni sono consigliate soprattutto per ambienti con parete lunga e libera da porte e finestre, ove é difficile arredare con elegante leggerezza. Per rendere la composizione più originale é bene che: basi, pensili e mensoloni abbiano finiture e colori diversi; così facendo si crea un’atmosfera vivace che stimola il buon umore.

The “supported TOWER” base units are designed to be able to surmount relative small shelves fixed to the wall, which also serve as support surfaces for objects and wall units. These solutions are recommended primarily within rooms with elongated wall space, with no doors and windows, where it is difficult to furnish the room with elegant lightness. To make the arrangement yet more original, it is a good idea to present base units, wall units and large shelves in different finishes or colours, bestowing a lively ambience which lifts the mood.

Oltre il lato estetico, anche i materiali im-piegati e i particolarti costruttivi hanno grande valenza sulle basi TOWER. I tops con vasca integrata sono stampati ad iniezione con resina bianca lucida, per-tanto non hanno alcuna giunzione che ne provocherebbe sgradevoli sgoccio-lamenti. Le basi sono in agglomerato di legno nobilitato idrorepellente, disponibili con anta o cassettone apribili lateral-mente tramite l’incavo sui fianchi.

In addition to the aesthetics, the materi-als used and the manufacturing details hold great importance in terms of the TOWER base units. The tops with inte-grated wash basin are injection moulded with gloss white resin, yet they do not feature any joints which could lead to gradual dripping. The base units are made from water-repellent, laminated wood, available with doors and drawers which can be opened sideways using the notch, present on the sides.

Con le basi TOWER si cambia il sistema di arredo, le particolari dimensioni donano una originalità estetica da sembrare più un oggetto che un comune mobile da bagno. Da questa versione “a terra” le basi TOWER prendono nome, perché viste dal basso sembrano delle torri alte e strette. Il risultato finale è che TOWER è un prodotto fuori dagli standard, consente ad ogn’uno di esprimere la propria originalità nell’arredamento dal bagno, anche se di piccole dimensioni.

TOWER base units serve to transform the furniture arrangement, the specific dimensions provide original aesthetics, which give the ap-pearance of more of an object, than general bathroom furniture. The TOWER base units take their name from the “free-standing” version, because, as seen from below, they resemble tall, narrow towers. The final result - TOWER represents an exceptional product, enabling everybody to express their individuality when furnishing their bathroom, even where space is restricted.

The TOWER arrangement is one of a kind for its pure and essential forms boasting elegant beauty and for the specific at-tention to details, for example, the white resin wash basin with 15 mm, slightly rounded edging, doors and drawer units with side handle grip moulded into the sides, tubular metal, aluminium-coloured drawer unit and internal drawer side rails with rollaway telescopic runners and level adjusters, drawer unit top side rail in transparent glass. There is also a vast range of materials, colours and finishes from which to select.

The Stone laminates used for external coatings of the “TOWER” base units are of the highest quality, and guarantee significant resistance to wear and tear and humidity. The TOWER base units are also available in the lacquered version, see the page opposite.
