FRANCISCAN MONASTERY MUSEUM
Although the monastery often and in many ways was destroyed during turbulent centuries of Ottoman rule, the monks were able to collect and to preserve to preserve rare, valuable and interesting exhibits up to date. The largest number of exhibits relates to traditional occupations of extraction and processing of ores.Sacral part of the collection consists of crosses, chalices, monstrance and work of decorative arts: candle holders, incense burners and similar. The museum has a collection of prints and original historical documents: a letter-charter King Tomas to people of Dubrovnik written in 1444, a document of Prince Juraj Vojsalić from 1434, permission (bujruntija) to repair the monastery by vizier Selim, issued in 1767, a copy of "ahdnama" that Sultan Mehmed II gave to Fr. Anđelo Zvizdović in 1463, and many others.
Old documents, chronicles and writings are kept in the monastery archives, including the hand-written book of Nicholas de Padua from the XV. century, then a valuable legacy of Fr. Grga Martic, and other famous Franciscans who worked in Kresevo. Archive contains books of baptisms, deaths and marriages from 1765 onwards.

The library of the Franciscan monastery has over 22,000 books including a handwritten collection of theological XII. century, Strabon's Geographia in 1480 and De re metallica by Georgius Agricola in 1657.
EXCAVATION OF CRYSTALS AND MINERALS / GEO TRAILS
It is hard to find more interesting mineralogical area in Bosnia then Kreševo and its surroundings. HIKING
Kreševo is more than 120 years known hiking destination. Situated in the heart of the Central Dinarides along the 70 kilometer long continuous mountain series that make up the mountain Vranica (2112 m), Zec (1871 m), Matorac (1937 m), Vitreuša (1919 m), Pogorelica (1437 m), Bitovnja (1744 m) and Ivan (1534 m). Geologically, the core of these mountains make Paleozoic sediments making them the oldest mountains in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Geology has caused the occurrence of ore deposits and mineral sources. The whole area is extremely rich in water. In the mountain massif Zec there are wellheads of rivers Vrbas and Neretva. Vegetation cover up to 1600 m are the centuries-old forests, made mainly of fir and beech with a smaller share of other species, while above there is a spread of mountain pastures. The highest ridges of the mountains are covered with pine (juniper) and alpine alder.

OBERSKA CAVE / SPELEOLOGY
It is located 4 km from Kreševo and about 2 km from the village Vranci, located on the right side of the river Kostajnica. Oberska Cave is a natural formation where miners who mined ore for centuries, gave it its final form. It is believed to be the oldest mine mercury / cinnabar in the region. It was placed under state protection in 1960 as a natural rarity.In the area of Kreševo there are several caves such as the Veliki and Mali oklop and numerous mining pits.

Vranci
Vranci is a picturesque village wich is located two kilometers from Kresevo, and in many ways represents the open-air museum. In a relatively small area you can see the national monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina and monuments of nature, but also many other interesting things.Although there is no information on the date when it was built, "Roman Bridge" is without a doubt, the oldest preserved building facility in Kresevo and the entire valley of the Lepenica. The bridge was declared a national monument. A few hundred meters above the bridge, there are still visible remains of a Roman road with traces of Roman mining wheels and car in the linear expansion of about 2000 meters,. The village itself, as well as Kresevo and Deževice, has a major mining importance, as indicated by numerous remains of old mining operations in the near and distant surroundings.
Ta'te (bosnian bell)
Iron plates (ta'te) were used in the Ottoman rule in Bosnia, in all major monasteries and parishes as the substitutes for the bells that were forbidden. Ta'te are actually two iron plates hanging, one is always longer and thinner, the other shorter and thicker. These are alternately hitting two iron hammers, and "knock" gives a very harmonious sound. Ta'te in Vranci are, the only ones in BiH that are still used today: hung in the Kreševo church that was built after 1530. After monastery gopt permission to get the bell, they gave ta'te to residents of Vranci in 1880's.
Old houses in Vranci
Seven of the old houses in Vranci are also national monuments. They are easily recognized by their characteristic architecture. Unlike other places where these houses are used as decoration, they are the most normal housing in Vranci.

DEŽEVICE
A village situated between Fojnica and Kresevo, in the Middle Ages known for its mines, market, the colony of Dubrovnik, of the necropolis and by St. James of the Marc who resided there. A few hundred meters from the village is the shrine of St. James where he was, according to tradition, lived. Every first Sunday oft he month, service is held there. ENDURO AND MOTOCROSS
For many years Kreševo is destination number 1 when it comes to motocross and enduro in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Enjoying the ride through the picturesque landscape, but also the best track for motocross in the country, it is attracting more and more numerous motor sport enthusiast to Kreševo. In our town, there's the center of the Motorcycle Association of BiH, and Eastern European championship in motocross and Alpe Adria Cup in Enduro are held here.

FISHING
Surroundings of Kresevo is area of the highest Bosnian mountains, and the immediate vicinity of sources of 3 major rivers: Bosna, Vrbas and Neretva. Enjoy the murmur of mountain creeks, and fishing on the Crna rijeka or Kreševčica. Daily fishing permit 20 KM.

HUNTING
Rich hunting ground is managed by hunting society "Tetrijeb". Deer is the most common venison, wild boar, wolves, bears, foxes and grouse. The company has a hunting house in Kreševo and hunting lodges at the Mešćema (Lopata), Ćubren and Ratkovići that are open for hunting enthusiasts. Society manages shooting range equipped by Olympic standards on which competitions are often held.
