The Concept: To reach out to forge a partnership of

cooperation with hospitals and other facilities

employing nurses and nursing assistants to

assist WSBN to achieve it’s mission

WSBN Mission Statement

To serve and safeguard the people of

Wyoming through the regulation of nursing

education and practice.

What triggered the Concept?

WSBN was becoming aware of issues

related to licensure – i.e., the process

of getting nurses licensed as quickly as

possible

WSBN was becoming aware that

employers of nurses were not reporting

violations of the Nurse Practice Act

WSBN was not getting the information

needed to do effective investigations
