Toruń Moves!

For nearly 800 years Toruń falls in the memory of anyone who had ever got a chance to know its unique character. Toruń is one of the most beautiful and most frequently visited tourist destinations in Poland. The main magnet attracting annually almost 2 million visitors from all over the world is the Medieval Old Town quarter which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Toruń is a city which is always on the way! The journey from the city centre to the Bydgoszcz Airport takes only 45 minutes. The international airport in Gdańsk is only a 100-minute drive away. In Toruń one can use the well-developed network of the public transport or... take a pleasant walk as most of the attractions are situated within the green and mostly-pedestrianised Old Town. One of the most popular events is the acclaimed International Festival of Light ‘Bella Skyway Festival’ during which artists from all over the world present light installations and displays in the historical space of the Old Town. Apart from various museums and galleries, as well as, the exhibitions at the Contemporary Art Centre and the Jordanki Cultural and Convention Centre, with their amazing modernist architecture hosts public and private theatres providing highly tasteful entertainment.
