Contents PageThis Magazine does not have a clear contents page. The first page when you read it is actually the start of a cover line that is used on the cover. It then continues into other cover stories and the regular
things that would appear in every issue.
The main cover however does show next to all the cover lines the pages where they can find it. This could save the institution some money as they would need to print the contents page for every
issue. Also the age group it is for do not usually look at the contents page therefore a contents page is not as relevant for this magazine
If I was asked to change this magazine then I would put in a clearer contents page. This is only because it is a monthly magazine so I do believe that they can afford it. It will make the magazine look better because it would be more professional as they would be following
codes and conventions.
Double Spread PagesThere are many double spread pages in this magazine. Each double page is
different. This includes star advice. Star advise is a double page where a star gives advice about anything. In this issue it is Diana where she advises
the girls about growing up and how she dealt with growing up. Other double pages include interviews with some of the biggest pop stars. This includes interviews with Joe McElderry, Zac Efron and The wanted. With these interviews the reader get closer to the pop stars. Not only do they
have interviews but other double spread pages include fashion advice from Cheryl Cole. How the readers can be like their favourite pop stars. There’s
also a double spread page on real life stories. I will be looking in more detail and analysing the interview with Joe
McElderry. This is because I think that this article will be more relevant to when I make my magazine.
