We valueand appreciate your business. 15 years ago we startedselling bulls private treaty and 3 years ago moved toour annual on farm sale. We have another greatgroup of bulls on offer, selected out of 180 Purebredfemales. We have some exciting new genetics in thecatalogue including sons of LT Venture, HRJMaverick, and our newest walking bull, G. Bros.Asteroid. Our returning genetics will not disappointand you will find a very consistent group out of ourwalking herdsires; Winn Mans 780A, SKW 5C,Sparrows Cascade and Steppler 83U. Preparing for our bull sale starts right from the

time we select our breeding program for the year. Wealways have our customers’ needs at the top of thelist. We want to provide our customers with aconsistent group of bulls to choose from, so aconsistent cow herd is top priority. We want thebulls to be healthy, long lasting, thick and deep withphenomenal breeding qualities. We maintain anExpress Verified herd health program. We work witha nutritionist to ensure the bulls get what they needout of their feed as they grow. Our bulls are weaned,weighed and vaccinated and then put out on 80 acresof grass. This is when we begin pail feeding oats anda protein supplement. In early December we movethe bulls home into a large bull pen and beginfeeding them a TMR consisting of oat silage, S01

oats, hay and a protein supplement with a completemineral package.Come early on Thursday, March 19th to view the

bulls as this will once again be a video sale. Thebulls will be penned in small groups giving you theopportunity to take your time and have a good look.Enjoy a morning coffee and fresh cinnamon bunssponsored by Gateway Vet Services. Wow, sale number three. Time flies and with every year the quality of the offering in this sale also increases. This isthe best set of bulls they have ever offered and with some interesting new sire groups for you to evaluate. From somebulls that would work in the heifer pen to some big performance bulls that will put your calves in the top sort pens,they are here for you. The catalogue is done in sire groups so if you run multiple bulls and want to purchase some ½or ¾ brothers for consistency in your calf crop, they are easy to identify.

This low stress video sale in their heated shop is fun for the whole family. They encourage you to bring your kids and have a corner set up forthe youngsters to enjoy the day as well. Come early and view all the bulls and enjoy lunch and some down-home hospitality.

We purchased Steppler 83U from Steppler Charolais out of the Hi-Weigh Breeders sale in Manitoba in 2009. We are very impressedwith his body depth, excellent feet and legs, thick top and excellenthair coat. He is a phenomenal breeder and is extremely consistent.His bull calves are very desirable and pretty much sell themselves.They are thick and have great hair. Just a great type to sire markettopping steers.His daughters have quickly risen to become cornerstones of our herd.They have nice udders and milk extremely well. He sires excellentshow females. They are thick and have excellent muscle shape yetpull it together into a feminine front end.This bull has exceeded all of our expectations. The consistency andqualities he passes on to his progeny will be hard to duplicate. He is amild mannered bull.

The rightof property will not pass until final payment is made.BIDDING: Each animal will sell to the highest bidder. Bidders unableto attend the sale may phone their bids and instructions to the salemanager, auctioneer or special representatives. Bids must bereceived in sufficient time prior to the sale.DISPUTES: Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. Ifno further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom theauctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision is final.ANNOUNCEMENTS: Announcements made from the auction block willtake precedence over printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers arecautioned to pay close attention to announcements.PURCHASER’S RISK: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaseras soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk for areasonable length of time. All animals left with the seller must beinsured.CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION: Each animal will carry papers issuedby the Canadian Charolais Association. be breeders, the matter shall be reported in writing to the sellerwithin six months following the date of purchase or six months afterthe bull has reached fourteen months of age. The seller has the rightand privilege of six months to prove the bull a breeder. No guaranteeis given that semen collected from the bull will freeze.EXCEPTION GUARANTEE: In cases where the animal is subjected toany hormonal or surgical reproductive techniques after the sale, thisguarantee shall be null and void. The seller is not responsible fordamage caused by foreign bodies after the animal has been sold orfor sickness not apparent at sale time. In no event shall the seller beresponsible for more than the purchase price.ACCIDENTS: Although every precaution will be taken to protect thesafety and comfort of buyers, neither the sale manager, auctioneer,or sellers assume any responsibility and disclaim any liability, legal orotherwise,in the event of accident or lossof property.
