Goals and Objectives of PACE Program

The Pirate Achievement Coaching and Empowerment program is designed so student achievement is consistently addressed. The period will provide staff members the opportunity to:

o Support achievement of all studentso Provide mentoring and support for at-risk studentso Provide structured progress monitoringo Support PBISo Support the Pirate Support Team goals (PEPs and Tiers)

DRESS CODEStudent Dress Code

We ask students to follow certain guidelines for their health and safety. We believe that is in the best interest of the student body to have standards that help maintain discipline and self-respect. HATS: No hats, bandanas, or other head gear, including sun glasses, are to be worn during the school day. Hats will be treated the same as electronic devices. They are to be in a student’s locker during the school day. Moreover, if a student wears a sweatshirt with a hood, the hood must remain off the student’s head. SHIRTS: All shirts must have sleeves. No midriffs are to be visible when the student raises her arms above her head. No clothing is to be worn which depicts or suggests obscene language, promotes drugs or alcohol, promotes violence or gangs, or contains sexual language/symbols. Cleavage should not be shown. Pajama tops are not permitted. PANTS: Students should follow the “4 inch rule” when deciding whether shorts and skirts are too short. The shorts/skirt must be no more than 4 inches above the top of the kneecap. Pajama bottoms are not permitted. If the garment is questionable, students will be sent to the office for confirmation of length. Pants are to be worn at natural waist line, covering underwear. SHOES: Students are to wear shoes at all times. Students must wear closed toed shoes for attendance in P.E. classes. OTHER: No wallet/waist chains are to be worn/brought to school. Body piercing worn at TMS are limited to ears.

STUDENT DROP OFF AND PICK UP

TMS PARENT INFORMATION

School day is from 8:30-3:35

Early release is 12:35

Students are tardy after 8:30

If your child arrives after 8:30 you must check them in the front office

No check outs after 3:00

Please come to the front office with any needs – do not go directly to a teachers classroom

All visitors must have a sticker

Please schedule appointments with teachers
