What is Title 1? A federal program to help all students get a

good education and meet academic standards.

Part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 and reauthorized by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.

Targeted at meeting the needs of the neediest children

Number/percent participating in free/reduced lunch program

Focused on reading, math & science (NCLB tested areas)
