PUBLIC NOTICE OF OPERATIVE DATE OF PLAN CHANGE NO.14UNDERTHE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT ACT 1991
The Proposed Timaru District Plan Change No 14 (PC14) proposes to rezone land at Washdyke toincrease the availability of industrial zoned land in Timaru. PC14 was approved by Timaru District Council on28 October 2014. In accordance with Clause 20, Schedule 1 of the Resource Management Act 1991,the Timaru District Council gives public notice that the provisions of PC14 will become operative on17 November 2014.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF HISLOP STREET ANDWILSON STREET, GERALDINE
Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure)Regulations 1965, notice is hereby given that the TimaruDistrict Council permits the Geraldine Arts and PlantsCommittee closure of the following streets to ordinaryvehicular traffic, for the Geraldine Arts and Plants Festival,for the period indicated hereunder.Streets proposed to be temporarily closed toordinary vehicular traffic:Hislop Street, Geraldine (Cox Street to Camping Ground)Wilson Street, Geraldine (Talbot Street toMcKechnie’s Cottage).Period of proposed temporary closure:Hislop Street, Geraldine - 6.30am–5pm onSaturday 15 November 2014Wilson Street, Geraldine - 6am–5pm onFriday 14 November 2014.It will be an offence under the above Regulations for anyperson other than under authority of an authorised permitto use the streets for ordinary vehicular traffic during theperiod of proposed temporary closure.
