DETROIT, Mich. – While vacationing in Detroit recently, I ran across several hundred people lining up to enter a downtown building.

A huge sign proclaimed, “Shinola watches. Samples. $100.”

Shinola? That was as meaningful to me as . . . well, that had no meaning to me.

But later I was to find out that Shinola is a magic word around Detroit. The company is based in that city and proclaims it’s “dedicated to producing American-built products, including watches, bicycles, leather goods and journals of the highest possible quality.

Shinola’s watchword, though, is definitely watches.Bill Clinton is reported to have bought more than a dozen

of its high-end watches last year and Shinola’s company signature Rumwell watch sells for more than $500.

I met up with one obviously happy Shinola customer who told me she had just purchased five of those sample watches. She didn’t say if she planned to sell any of them, but it was obvious from her giddiness that she thought she had just pulled off a major heist.

The surreal scene of lined-up Shinola watch buyers reminded me of two stories I wrote four months ago for the California Bowling News. I had talked about my recent personal experiences with watches – and they were not good.

I wrote that the timing was finally right for me to get over my past travails and buy a new watch – from Target. So I did.

The price: $9.99. In other words, I could have bought nine more of these

watches for the price of that one Shinola sample. In my two stories, I related how I had bought five

previous watches – four from Costco and one from TJ Maxx. All five fell apart – some within weeks, some within months and one just over a year.

Those watches ranged in price from about $65 to about $145. I returned each one. All I wanted was a watch where I could easily read the time. I wanted a watch with big numbers – and not numerals. I didn’t want to have to calculate the time; I just wanted to know the time.

What I didn’t anticipate was the outpouring of reaction from these two innocuous stories from my bowling brethren. They pretty much had the same message.

Some of them told me they had watches that cost about 10 bucks or less. Some had watches that cost 15 bucks or 20 bucks. And they owned them for years and years and years. All their current watches were aged but still working, although some bowlers admitted they needed to change batteries every so often.

I didn’t ask anyone in that Shinola line whether he or she was a bowler. But I’d guess there weren’t many who were – if any.

Bowlers are smart people. They aren’t easily fooled into plunking down a hundred bucks for a watch – even if it’s a fabled Shinola. If they don’t have a Shinola, bowlers understand that life will go on and remain just fine for them both inside their bowling center and outside.

Bowlers know the angles – like how to clip a bowling pin on the edge so they can convert a split by rolling the pin down the lane toward another one.

They really do know all the angles and they don’t own expensive watches they don’t need.

And yes, my Target watch is still alive and ticking.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Aug. 9, 2016) – Eddie Graham of Centerville, Ohio, joined the PBA50 Tour in June and immedi-ately made an impact by qualifying for match play in eight consecutive tour-naments. He parlayed that success into a win in the PBA50 DeHayes Insurance Group Championship pre-sented by Pro Bowl West and Ebonite Tuesday at Pro Bowl West.

In a title match where strikes were hard to come by and spares were good enough, Graham defeated three-time PBA50 Tour and five-time PBA Tour winner Bob Learn Jr. of Erie, Pa., 186-156, for his first career PBA50 Tour title.

“It was ugly out there for both of us,” said Graham, who has won five PBA regional titles including the 2007 PBA Regional Players Invitational. “I was having problems reading the front part of the lane but eventually I found a place where I could throw the ball soft, let the lane do the work, and at least get the ball to the pocket.”

Graham bowled on the PBA Tour part-time from 1994 to 1998 but didn’t achieve the success he was hoping for. Like many bowlers who turn 50, he saw the PBA50 Tour as an opportunity to relive the dream.

“It was the right time to give it another shot,” said Graham, whose previous best finishes this season were ninth in the recent PBA50 South Shore Open and 12th in the Suncoast PBA Senior U.S. Open. “I’ve been a bowler my whole life so I looked at it as another chapter in my bowling career, and here I am.”

In the opening stepladder match, PBA Hall of Famer Amleto Monacelli of Venezuela, trying for his second title of the season, defeated Fort Wayne native and two-time PBA50 Player of the Year Ron Mohr, 217-202, who notched his sixth top five finish of the season.

In the second match, Monacelli beat two-time PBA50 Tour winner Lennie Boresch Jr. of Kenosha, Wis., 195-179, to advance to the semifinal match against Graham. Boresch’s fourth-place finish was his third consecutive finals appear-ance after coming off back-to-back runner-up finishes.

In the semifinal, Graham handily beat Monacelli 257-175 to advance to the title match against Learn who was the top qualifier for the finals.

Action continues at Pro Bowl West Aug. 11-13 with the PBA60 Dick Weber Championship presented by Hammer for players 60 years of age and older.

The season wraps up with the PBA50 National Championship presented by Riley Hospital for Children Aug. 14-17 at Signature Lanes in Elkhart, Ind.

Fans can catch all the action live on PBA’s online bowling channel Xtra Frame. Monthly subscriptions are $7.99; 3-day passes are $3.99 and a yearly subscription is available for the equivalent of $1.25 per week. Visit www.xtraframe.tv for additional subscription and schedule information.

Sol Cericos 5th ABTA Championship. (L-R) Angelina Dizon, Patrick Flores 4th $110, Sol Cericos 1st $2,500, Willie Parawan 2nd $500, Josie Parawan and Tess Dizon.

EL MONTE — Con-gratulations to Sol Cericos winning his fifth cham-pionship at Action Lanes worth $2,500. The shot was pretty tough to some, but Sol Cericos found a way to get another champi-onship in fine fashion.

The qualifying cut scores were Men +51 and Women +34. Top quali-fiers to receive a paid en-try to any regular ABTA Tournament were Ely Cruz +119 and Ginalynn Velarde +106. Super Seniors add-ed, two men and one wom-an were Sun Sundara +36, Tom Dahl +34 and Sierrie Herradura +18. The 3/6/9 pot will be $700 at Cal Bowl. We had three bowl-ers tied for the pot, John Armenia, Herman Benn, Jr. and Alpine Tran, $33 each.

The Semis took the floor. A few bowlers strug-gled to make the cut. The top bowler had +79 but the cut was Men +11 and Women -5. Second game, the cut was lower, Men -14

and Women -3. Top bowler was +87. Third game, cut went a little lower with a -2 for both Men and Women. Willie Parawan found his stride to stay on top with a +107, followed closely by Mark Fisser with a +100. Willie Parawan had the pleasure to relax during the

final matches. Mark Fisser sat out the first game of the semis being the second qualifier.

The finals saw most matches being decided in the last two frames. Making top 16 finals were 10-16th, Chris Solomon, Rowie Ju-cal, Leah Borillo, William

Ele, Sierrie Herradura, Ted-dy Villaroman and Bedell Vasquez. They took home $100 each.

In 6-9th places were Mark Fisser, Jamescart Alarcio, Cezar Marcella and Jun Contreras, $105 each. Coming in 4th and 5th Patrick Flores and Gi-

nalynn Velarde $110. Third place, Sun Sundara $200.

Sol Cericos won all four of his matches from #6 po-sition to meet the top quali-fier Willie Parawan for the championship. Willie unfortunately started with three open frames, with a washout, missing a 10 pin and a 5-10 split. Sol Ceri-cos kept his steady bowling without an open frame until the 5th when he left 3 – 6 pins. Willie opened in the fifth frame leaving 2-4-5 and another split in the 6th frame, a 5-10 he couldn’t pick up. Willie marked in the 7th and 8th frame but left another 5-10 split in

the 9th and spared in the tenth with a final score of 121/163.

Sol Cericos contin-ued his steady bowling doubling in the 6th and 7th frames, spared in the 8th and 9th and double in the 10th frame to seal his championship with a 199/224. Sol was the horse and paid $49.

Sol Cericos is from Ar-cadia, used his Infinity/Fury drilled by one of our members, Memo Rosales. Sol and his wife, Mary have three children, A.J., Hannah and Maegan.

Willie Parawan is from La Puente, used Roto Grip/Defiant drilled by Memo. His wife Josie was on hand to cheer him on.

Sun Sundara is from Di-amond Bar, wants to thank his wife Gail for her sup-port and their four grown children.

Join us Saturday, August 20th at Cal Bowl in Lake-wood. This is a FROZEN tournament.

ABTA will be taking a BYE on August 27th re-suming at West Covina Lanes for our Labor Day Tournament on September 2, 3 and 4th.

Please check the Bowl-ing News online or ABTA Facebook for additional in-formation and updates. See you at Cal Bowl.

PANORAMA CITY – Mario McKenzie has had a hot summer. His two bowling championships show it.

The graceful right-hander claimed the title of a doubles no-tap tournament with partner Mike Cohen in June at Winnetka Bowl. A few months earlier, McKenzie teamed with Roger Paskell, Jeff Stitz and Greg Kolski to win the 2016 North Los Angeles County Bowling Assn. team competition at Valencia Lanes.

“I was happy to bowl with a lot of great guys,” McKen-zie said. “I enjoyed every minute of it.”

In a blow to San Fernando Valley bowling, McKenzie will be leaving this area early next month to live and work in Las Vegas. It was a family-oriented decision, McKen-zie said.

He’s lived in Panorama City since 2012 after moving from Altadena and has become one of the most popular players in Valley-area league bowling.

“Mario is very dedicated to his bowling game, always practicing and trying to improve. However it’s his positiv-ity that stands out the most,” said Amy Lew, an up-and-coming bowler and co-director of Winnetka Bowl’s no-tap doubles tournaments.

“He doesn’t get mad or down if he’s not bowling well. Mario just smiles and worries about his next shot. It will be sad to see him go!”

McKenzie, who averages 202, will be working for the Veterans Administration in Las Vegas. A former veteran, McKenzie has worked for the VA in Sepulveda and West L.A. for the past nine years.

“I do plan to come back,” said McKenzie, who has been the “face of the VA” in its hiring videos. “I have a five-year plan. I’m going to buy a home there [Las Vegas] but I want to come back and buy a home here.

“I really like homes here in the Valley but they’re so expensive now.” Remarkably, both of McKenzie’s tournament victories this year have come when he was paired with his teammates

either the day of the event or the day before. “I think I work better spontaneously,” McKenzie said. “I don’t think about it too hard.”McKenzie is one of the many top local bowlers who either have recently left this area or are in the process of doing

so. Charles Kenny, perhaps the Valley-area’s most electrifying bowler, said recently that he will be leaving the Valley for Las Vegas “at the end of the year.”

Kenny plans to continue bowling in Nevada and McKenzie said that’s his goal as well.“On top of my list is to take over Vegas,” said McKenzie hopefully.

BOWLINGNEWSUDOKULAS VEGAS — Last weeks Military Veterans Tour-

nament was a blast. BRAD EDELMAN’S High Roller organization put on another great tournament for military veterans and their guests. Hundreds of bowlers and teams came from all parts of America to compete for big dollars.

While “TEAM WEILER” didn’t cash, our anchor man (Jimmy Schmitzer) bowled super and scored one of tour-nament’s highest scratch All-Events scores (762 Team, 706 Doubles, 708 Singles = 2,176). Jimmy averaged 241 for his nine games of competition.

Schmitzer’s performance is not surprising. He is the young man who rolled a certified “900” series five years ago in SoCAL and carries a book average of 241. Two season’s ago he booked 240!

Great bowling Jimmy and thanks BOWLING NEWS for supporting “CALIFORNIA” bowlers.

• LUXOR LANES was the only center in the Southland to have DUCK PIN bowling. Open play only. 3 pound balls with no finger holes. You got to roll three balls to knock down all 10 pins. LUXOR owners thought about adding “candle-sticks” — but don’t think they did.

• Plenty of fireworks at EAGLE ROCK LANES for their opening on July 1st.

• KONA LANES came up with the “Husband & Wife” doubles tournament. Squads every night for 10 days. 4 games- $10.00 entry fee. I.D. needed???

• Win a 1960 4 DOOR CORVAIR in the Summer Singles. (13 centers participating) Was it the “booby prize”? Worth about $40,000 today.

• Who was known as “WRONG FOOT LOUIE”?

• The P.B.A. was bowling at BOWL-A-DROME annually before moving to GABLE HOUSE. Stars of the day were Ed Bourdase, Don Carter, Carmen Salvino, Dick Weber and Bill Bunetta.

• CAROLINA LANES was famous for a lot of events after opening. Remember the strippers in the bar? The noise from the airport? The lousy parking?

• A fellow named Bob Williams attempted to beat the record of most consecutive games. 1001 games was the number. Simple rules: could shave and shower once a day, eating break every four hours and no sleeping. He planned to use 16 different balls and 5 pairs of shoes. He only made 200 games before his back gave out.

• July welcomed GAGE BOWL to the game. And GAGE is still in the game!

• CONEJO VILLAGE in Thousand Oaks at the opening was called the “Tenpin Temple”. Nothing has replaced it.

• Advance ads for PIONEER BOWL August opening started in July. They always had a great Junior Program.....until the day they closed.

• 14 year old Frank Bellinder fired a 299 at Monterey Park, making headlines. Now, his daughter Missy makes the headlines.

• ALHAMBRA VALLEY BOWL will open its doors on September 1. Another one still in the biz.

• Why did some centers offer $1,000.00 for a 300 game and others gave a trophy? Most popular was $300. Did the bait actually bring in the bowlers? Or just get newspaper space?

• How did Channel 9 manage a weekly bowling show on Thursday night and now a 900 goes unnoticed by the networks? More people bowl than play baseball, golf, basketball or hockey, which was mostly weekend programs. WE WANT BOWLING! A new show, JACKPOT BOWLING, starring Milton Berle was due to premier at HOLLYWOOD LE-GION LANES. Make 6 strikes and win the Jackpot. N.B.C. televised the show coast to coast.

• 230 centers in the Southland were threatened with an employee strike. They were asking for a 40 hour work week plus all hourly pay equal to minimum wages, with a 12 cent increase the next 3 years. Settled in 3 days.

• Hemet invites neighbors to RAMONA LANES opening in August. A.M.F. did it again.

• MISSION BOWL in Oceanside was welcomed by hundreds of Marines. Same owners opened EL CAJON BOWL.

• RUBIDOUX BOWL showed off their 24 lanes on August 26th to the citizens of surrounding towns, before the freeways crisscrossed east of L.A.

• CEDAR LANES in Fresno advertised their 1st annual “Prime Rib Singles”. More about CEDAR LANES and the “Thanksgiving” tournament

that lasted until it closed 3 years ago.

• September 12 was a big day for Westminster. They will join the bowling world with their own WESTMINSTER LANES which was under construction.

• Miss Jayne Mansfield made a big impression at the HOLLYWOOD LEGION LANES opening. Her dress pre-vented her showing off her bowling skills — but not much else.

• STARDUST BOWL in the West Covina Plaza was ready to rock and “roll” for the winter leagues.

• ROYAL OAKS made its royal opening in Duarte on October 8th. Did that become COLUMBIA BOWL??? More investigation on that needed.

• David Boran gave “filmed” bowling lessons for the coming installation of candlestick bowling. Didn’t work. They never caught on. A strike didn’t sound like a strike!

• October 7, 1960 a full page ad shouting STRIKE - BALL - STRIKE - DUKE SNYDER LANES was on base to open. There was NO ADDRESS on the ad. Surprise, it was in Fallbrook.

• Billy Welu was at every grand opening and instruction class in So. Calif. for three years! Even I became a certi-fied coach under his tutelage. Remember the old “suitcase” grip?? Four steps and roll the ball over the second arrow? Two middle fingers and thumb in the ball- - -the sixteen pounder on the rack.

• Welcome WESTMINSTER LANES. Their gimmick to draw a crowd was: Bowl 3 practice games and get a chance on a trip for two to Hawaii. Yes, they are still doing business in Orange County.

• West Covina was home to STARDUST BOWL. San Gabriel Valley bowlers loved that pin palace. It just had bad management and a lot of competition. I believe it closed in the 1970’s.

• Jack Quinn rolled the highest series in the nation - an 815. Most have followed his instruction advice. He was the king of “instructors”.

• L.A. Chargers gave game tickets to anyone making the weekly honor roll. Just ask and you received.

• Lots of bowling in Long Beach when RED FOX LANES opened on November 5th. A few of their employees are still working in the industry.

• Busy time in Pomona for the construction of POM BOWL. A Halloween opening should be “spirited”.

• The San Gabriel Valley W.B.A. was Incorporated in October, 1960.

• FLASH — MONTEBELLO BOWL did indeed install 16 lanes of candlepins and 16 tenpin beds. I have yet to talk to anyone that actually bowled there or knew anything about it in Southern California. Governor Brown was there!!!

• Circle up the wagon bowlers! PIONEER BOWL is on the horizon. Check out the milking contest!!!

• TOWN AND COUNTRY LANES in Pomona unveiled.

• Willie Mosconi gave billiard pointers at HOLIDAY BOWL.

• Tim Albin was named JUNIOR BOWLER OF THE YEAR.

• Best bargain was at ALHAMBRA VALLEY BOWL. Sunday morning: 3 games $1.50 and breakfast $1.00.

• MATADOR BOWL rolled out the red carpet Dec. 10-11,1960. Recording arthist Jommy Rogers greeted guests and signed autographs.

• 1960 was a record year for building centers, learn to bowl classes tournaments of all kinds and leagues, leagues, leagues.

• Watch for 1961 (year our #1 typesetter Dean was born!) highlights gleaned from past issues in our Bowling News archves.

Looking Back at

1960Part 2 byCarol ManciniLAKE FOREST — In

the year of the Olympics, Rob Piroozshad “leaned at the tape” and edged out Bobby Campagnale by an eyelash to snatch the guar-anteed top prize of $1500. Bobby is the “king” of second-place finishes, and if you were to ask him, this is the one millionth time he has been the bridesmaid...and that is just this year alone!!!

42 bowlers took to the lanes, bowling on this year’s USBC Masters pattern. Big scores were tough to come by, as the highest game was turned in by Campagnale in game 8 with 269. Only six bowlers finished plus. Going into the last game, the top 10 bowlers were separated by less than 50 pins, so anyone close had a chance to win. Piroozshad turned in a clean 216 game, which put him as the clubhouse leader at +41. He would have to wait 10-15 minutes to see if his posted number would hold up. Campagnale needed a mark in the 10th to overtake Piroozshad, but he stoned a 4-7-9 and failed to convert, coming up short at +32.

Mike Devaney, who is always in the hunt of every So-Cal tournament he bowls, needed to punch from the 8th frame, but after opening in the 8th, he wound up at +15. Jeremy Glover was the next bowler Piroozshad had his eyes on. Needing a 228 to go ahead, Jeremy left a 5-7 in the 8th frame on what he thought was a good hit. Those that were watching were all waiting for the signature dou-ble around-the-back, though-the-legs Jeremy Glover slap out, but it just didn’t happen. He was out of wood after he missed the spare and ended up at +16. Wesley Low was the last person to finish. He needed two strikes in the 10th to win, but his first shot never made the corner, and he fell short leaving the 3-5. In this “low” scoring event, Wesley finished at +28. After the tournament, Wesley boarded a flight to go back to Wichita State. Good luck this year kid!

What was amazing about Piroozshad’s victory was that he didn’t have a sniff of any sidepot or block at all! He didn’t shoot anything big or anything small, dipping under 200 three times with a high game of 227. Congrats Rob!!!

There is no exact date for the next tournament, but I am tentatively planning on running one more before the end of the year, so keep an eye out for information in the Bowling News and Facebook for the next one. Thank you again to everyone that showed up. I truly enjoy running these and watching the area’s best compete.

The chase for a special $10,000 winner-take-all prize in the Xtra Frame PBA Tour Series points race resumes Sat-urday and Sunday, Aug. 20-21, when Mid-County Lanes in Middletown, Del., hosts the PBA Xtra Frame Gene Carter’s Pro Shop Classic. Ryan Shafer of Horseheads, N.Y., who won the 2015 Delaware title to end a 12-year PBA Tour title drought, will be back to try to defend his title.

The Delaware tournament will be the fifth in a modi-fied schedule of eight Xtra Frame Tour points events. Oth-er events to come include the Xtra Frame Parkside Lanes Open in Aurora, Ill., Oct. 1-2; the Xtra Frame Reality Check Classic from Sawgrass Lanes in Tamarac, Fla., Oct. 8-9, and the Xtra Frame Las Vegas Open from South Point Bowling Plaza, Oct. 29-30. The previously-scheduled Billy Hardwick Memorial planned for Memphis, Tenn., in November has been postponed. XF Series points were not awarded for the PBA-PWBA Xtra Frame Striking Against Breast Cancer Mixed Doubles event.

Heading into Delaware, the Xtra Frame Series points leaders are: EJ Tackett 53; Tommy Jones 46, Ryan Cimi-nelli and Sean Rash 44, Shawn Maldonado 36, Anthony Simonsen 31, Jakob Butturff 25, Kyle Troup 23, Gary Faulkner 21 and Mitch Beasley 20. In Xtra Frame Series events, the winner earns 25 points, second place earns 19 and points decline by one for each place through 20th.

Anthony Simonsen, the PBA’s teenage two-handed star, will be among the PBA stars who will compete for Team USA in the upcoming Pan American Bowling Con-federation Championships Sept. 12-23 in Cali, Colombia.

Simonsen, who had earned a spot on Junior Team USA, was added to the adult Team USA roster earlier in the year. In addition to winning his first PBA Tour title in the Mark Roth/Marshall Holman PBA Doubles Championship with partner Connor Pickford in January, the Austin, Texas resi-dent won the USBC Masters for his first major, and made his Junior Team USA debut at the World Bowling Youth Championships in Lincoln, Neb., in early August, winning gold medals in doubles, team and masters competitions.

“If you would’ve told me a year ago this is how my year would’ve gone, I wouldn’t have believed you until I saw it,” Simonsen said. “Even now, I don’t think it all has sunk in. A lot of amazing things have happened, and I definitely have the confidence going into PABCON. I feel mentally strong and know I can compete alongside these guys, but I’m still looking forward to new experiences and the chance to learn even more.”

Joining Simonsen on the PABCON men’s team will be PBA Tour champions Marshall Kent of Yakima, Wash.; Ronnie Russell of Marion, Ind., and Sean Rash of Mont-gomery, Ill., along with PBA members John Szczerbinski of North Tonawanda, N.Y., and collegiate star AJ Chap-

Shannon O’Keefe of O’Fallon, Ill.; Shannon Pluhowsky of Dayton, Ohio; Missy Parkin of Laguna Hills, Calif., and Danielle McEwan of Stony Point, N.Y., along with Josie Earnest of Nashville, Tenn., and Bryanna Cote of Red Rock, Ariz.

Team USA has been dominant at past PABCON events, winning 258 total medals, 150 more than Mexico, which is second on the medal table with 108. The PABCON Cham-pionships will include six disciplines - singles, doubles, trios, team, all-events and Masters.

LAKE FOREST — Julian Zavala won the scratch divi-sion of the Junior Bowlers Tour (JBT) Tour Trials tour-nament last weekend at Forest Lanes, defeating a very competitive field that included his sister Stephanie who finished second.

The Tour Trials presented a tough challenge, with all bowlers rolling 20 games on four different lane conditions over the two days. Much like the Olympics 100 meters, the finals consisted of the top eight bowlers all compet-ing in one game for the gold. Julian rolled a 227 in the finals to capture the title. Stephanie, on break from Sam Houston State where she bowls for the Bearkats, finished second with a 199. Congratulations to both!

Julian and Stephanie are alumni from the JAT Sport Junior league at Keystones Lanes which starts again Sep-tember 10th (Saturday) at 11:30 a.m. (meeting; bowl at noon).

The league will consist of four eight-week rounds that provide an opportunity for juniors to qualify for the 2017 Jr Gold Championships to be held July 15-21 in Cleve-land. Juniors will bowl four games on sport lane condi-tions and the cost is only $13 per week.

If you are interested in joining, please contact Armando Zavala at (562) 896-4467 (yes, he is the proud papa of Julian and Stephanie!).

BURBANK — How does one know if one is addicted to bowling? It might be when you smash your finger and thank the Lord it isn’t one that goes into the ball.

Or maybe when you’re at the grocery store, reach into your pocket to pay, and pull out a bag of Easy Slide. And just possibly when you realize you have no clue what day of the week it is because it isn’t a league day.

Then there is that time when you have to admit one half of your wardrobe is comprised of bowling themed shirts. Oh! And you have the pro shop phone number on speed dial instead of 911.

You own bowling themed shot glasses, coffee mugs and serving dishes. Somebody save me! All of this is true! My life is immersed in bowling. I am obsessed and possessed.

I have to think about taking some action to get this monkey off my back. Yes, I must think about this…tomorrow. Right now I have to get to my league!

A huge shout out to Tommy Kientzy for his 300 game! Congratulations!

Bowling Center Mechanics Needed

by Carol ManciniNORWALK — Where have all the great A’s and B’s

gone? That was the topic for discussion at a recent meet-ing of concerned operators.

There are at least a half dozen centers that are in need of full or part time QUALIFIED MECHANICS.

Some local mechanics are working multiple centers — either due to lack of man-power or company policy.

If you are a mechanic looking for work — full time or part time — or know of a serious job hunter, call the Bowling News on Mondays 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
