Abacus ($130/month):Abacus training is a system of learning that optimizes the poten-tial and growth of a child’s brain. By focusing on simple numbers and easy systems in the beginning, young children receive an effective introduction to mathematics operations at an earlier age. This engages the two hemispheres of the brain by empha-sizing auditory, visual, and sensory cues and their linking neural pathways.

Basketball ($120/month): This is a non-competitive class focused on teamwork and funda-mentals. Your child will put into practice all the basic offensive and defensive techniques needed to learn this fun sport.

Chinese Chess($70/month):This classical game of strategy teaches students the benefits of planning ahead. What sets Chinese Chess apart from the standard version is the additional ways of blocking your opponent’s moves, adding a fun element that rewards patience and good planning. Our approach to the game will teach students to better set up their moves and reflect on the decisions involved in each move, greatly improving strategic planning skills.

Hip Hop Dance($80/month):Dancing is a wonderful form of exercise and expression. Students will receive fun lessons on the art of dance and educated on different forms of cultural expression. The dance program will help your child improve posture, discover music awareness, and learn about rhythm and coordination.

Kung Fu ($80/month):We believe a strong mind, body, and spirit will prepare your child for a balanced and productive life. During the athletic portion of your child’s exciting day, will provide an amazing Kung Fu program to improve health and enhance your child’s academic performance. Designed to build your child’s character, the Kung Fu program offers strong mentorship, self-defense training and life skills. Your child will increase awareness and learn how to use his/her best judgment to effectively deal with tough situations. Our self-defense and life training will also help improve your child’s behavior and study habits.

Lion Dance ($80/month):This over one thousand year old art form is symbol of strength and practiced by many Kung Fu schools around the world. Your child will have the special treat of learning this rare art. Musical instruments like the drum and cymbals are also part of the experience

Mystery Hour($100/month):Learn fun arts and crafts while learning more about different cultures. Our Mystery Hour will enable your child to express his/her creativity through hands-on learning. Your child will learn the science of art, exercising and enhancing higher levels of thinking. Projects will range from arts and crafts, such as origami and paint-ing, to fun science projects!

Personal Growth($70/month):The Personal Growth class offers a unique multi-dimensional approach to help your child become a more well rounded individual outside of academics and athletics. Your child will receive important life skills through fun topics such as public speaking, money management, conflict-resolution scenarios and more. Guest speakers from various professions and field trips will further enhance your child’s experience.

Tutoring ($130/month (does not include trivia/jeopardy)):We help ensure your child will not fall behind in school. We are a firm believer in sharing good study habits with students, forming a solid foundation for your child’s academic future. Tutoring is available every day during the program and supervised by highly-trained and encouraging instructors. Your child will receive guidance on academic subjects, as needed, on a personal level.

Ukulele ($120/month):This popular instrument will be the first instrument your child learns from us. Our patient instructors will teach the basic chords and build upon them. We will provide ukuleles as well as have some available for rent.

Three Treasures Cultural Arts Society is a mission driven 501c(3) non-profit that established itself as a community leader through programs that build our students’ mind, body, and spirit. Our emphasis on teaching reflective thinking skills in each of our programs has earned us endorsements from the Board of the San Diego Unified School District and Confucius Institute at San Diego State University. Our Youth Mentorship Program offers an exciting curriculum for children of all ages.
