Thornton man suspect in his wife's death arrested in Nevada

A Thornton man suspected of killing his wife in a domestic violence incident is in custody.

Stefan Stoian, 47, was arrested in Sparks, Nev., late Thursday night, according to the Thornton

Police Department.

A first degree-murder warrant was issued for him Thursday in connection with the case.

A relative found the victim's body Wednesday in a home in the 7500 block of East 121st Place, policesaid.

An extradition hearing is scheduled in Nevada. Colorado authorities are pursuing his return.
