THIS WORKSHEET IS TO HELP YOU SET YOURSELF UP FOR SUCCESS FOR THE FIRST CHALLENGE OF
THE COURSE:
INTRO AND OVERVIEW
THE $2,000 WEEKEND CHALLENGE!
Be sure to watch the video for this lesson, as some of the answers you need are given
by Lewis!
Markets are constantly changing and unless you’re willing to change with them, you fall
behind.
So let’s find out what people are really wanting in your niche right now.
We’re going to cover my favorite ways to make money in a weekend.
There are two reasons I’m having you do this right now:
1. I want you to make your money back for your investment in this product
2. I want you to prove to yourself what’s possible when you give yourself a challenge
We’ve already covered the importance of creating financial goals. You have goals for
making an impact and goals for making money.
LESSON III / THE $2,000 WEEKEND CHALLENGEVIDEO I / INTRO AND OVERVIEW
4 of 5
The next step, and the point of you being a part of this course, is to create a legacy
which blends those two together.
We’re doing a 3-4 day weekend challenge.
You get to do a small test to find your audience if you don’t have one. And if you do
have an audience, you get to test your revised product offering on them.
RISE ABOVE THE NOISE.
This is really important, even if you’re already making great money with your offering.
It’s too easy to get stuck in your comfort zone of what works and stop pushing yourself
to evolve, expand, and get new feedback.
Take control of this challenge, and take it seriously. Share with your community and
the group, you might shock yourself.

LESSON III / THE $2,000 WEEKEND CHALLENGEVIDEO II / MY STUDENT JOHN
UNIT I / LESSON III / THE $2,000 WEEKEND CHALLENGE / VIDEO II / MY STUDENT JOHN
I’M BRINGING YOU ANOTHER GUEST VIDEO WITH JOHN LEE DUMAS TO TALK ABOUT HIS WEEKEND CHALLENGE
AND HOW IT CHANGED HIS BUSINESS FOREVER.
MY STUDENT JOHN
The first time John ever launched a product, he did this weekend challenge.
He took on the same thing you’re going to take on in your weekend challenge, how to
sell something before you’ve created it, and it was a HUGE success.
Take a look at the video with John and use the following space to take down and notes
and ideas you gather from learning from someone who has made it happen.
THIS WORKSHEET IS TO HELP YOU REFINE EXACTLY WHAT YOUR WEEKEND CHALLENGE OFFER WILL BE. IT SHOULD BE A VERSION OF WHAT YOU WANT TO
OFFER LONG TERM SO THAT YOU CAN FIND OUT HOW IN DEMAND YOUR OFFERING IS.
REFINING YOUR WEEKENDCHALLENGE OFFER
Be sure to watch the video for this lesson, as some of the answers you need are given
by Lewis!
The easiest way to sell your product quickly in a weekend challenge is to provide a
simple, clear solution to a ___________ that your audience already has.
This means you’re not going to need to spend a ton of time explaining or educating
your audience.
Rather than designing a whole website, you’re going to set up a simple blog post or
landing page with your offer details and pricing options.
You are going to educate your audience on your product, but you get to keep this brief
and to the point. To do this, create an outline for exactly what your offering is.
Right now you’re going to get even more specific on what you decided what your
offering is back in Lesson 2.
We’re going to refine and revise - and continue that process. For now let’s focus on
what we need to get done in order to bring your offering to the market STAT.
LESSON III / THE $2,000 WEEKEND CHALLENGEVIDEO III / REFINING YOUR WEEKEND CHALLENGE OFFER
UNIT I / LESSON III / THE $2K WEEKEND CHALLENGE / VIDEO III / REFINING YOUR WEEKEND CHALLENGE OFFER
(1)
How often are calls? / Where?
Who runs the group?
Are any in-person meet-up’s included?
What type of things will you discuss?
Why would it be a good fit for them?
VIDEO III / REFINING YOUR WEEKEND CHALLENGE OFFER
DEFINE YOUR OFFERING:
If you’re coaching - make sure to include things like:
UNIT I / LESSON III / THE $2K WEEKEND CHALLENGE / VIDEO III / REFINING YOUR WEEKEND CHALLENGE OFFER
If it’s a bootcamp, or online course - make sure to include things like
The lesson outline - step by step what they’ll learn each week
What types of materials they’ll get
What the outcome will be from taking the course/bootcamp
Why am I different?
Why is this offering effective / why does it work?
Why am I the one to be teaching it / why should someone get it from me?
What additional resources / bonuses am I adding to sweeten the pot?
What is the value of my offering compared to what I’m actually charging (obviously
show that the value is greater than the price tag)?
Why is it important they buy NOW?
VIDEO III / REFINING YOUR WEEKEND CHALLENGE OFFER
Then ask yourself, “Am I missing anything?”
Read back through what you have written and ask yourself if it answers the following
questions:

Take down any discoveries or new information below:

This is going to give you everything you need for a blog post about your offering. If
you need to, you can create this in a word document so you have it handy to send to
potential customers.
Getting clarity on your product offering will make it a lot easier to naturally sell your
product because you’re educating your audience on a solution instead of feeling
pushy and salesy.
I revise and refine and adjust as an ongoing practice- so these exercises I’m taking you
through are hopefully helping you get more clarity on what your offer is.
THIS WORKSHEET IS TO HELP YOU DIG INTO THE LAUNCH STRATEGY FOR YOUR WEEKEND CHALLENGE
AND CREATE A PLAN THAT WILL FURTHER YOUR SUCCESS. HAVING A STRATEGY AHEAD OF TIME
WILL HELP YOU STAY ON TRACK AND FOCUSED.
YOUR LAUNCH STRATEGY
Don’t forget to watch the interview with John before completing this worksheet.
Be sure to also watch the video for this lesson, as some of the answers you need are
given by Lewis!
Now that you have all of the information on your offering put together and in one
place, we’re ready to get into the strategy of your weekend launch.
You heard John and I talk about the system he used to launch his product, Podcaster’s
Paradise. Now I’m going to walk you through the steps of how he did that, and the
options you have for creating your $2,000 this weekend.
OPTION 1: WEBINAR
Remember what John said in his weekend challenge interview? He used a webinar to
offer his product before he created it- and it worked.
I personally am a huge fan of webinars. They’ve been the ___________ of my
business for years.
LESSON III / THE $2,000 WEEKEND CHALLENGEVIDEO IV / YOUR LAUNCH STRATEGY

VIDEO IV / YOUR LAUNCH STRATEGY
You can host your webinar, or free training, on a free platform like Google Hangouts
or a paid platform like GoToWebinar or Zoom.
He promoted to anyone he could - via email, social media, word of mouth.
You’re going to do the same thing: ___________ your free training ___________.
Blast it to your email list, announce it to the groups you’re a part of, run Facebook ads
if you can. Get paid traffic if you have a little cash to spare.
On the free training, he taught some valuable content that he probably could have
charged for.
Then at the end of the webinar, he offered an “______ ______ _______” for a
super discounted rate (because when the actual course launched, it would be twice
that much).
At the end of your free webinar, you’re going to offer your solution to their big problem,
which is the advanced training - AKA your offering. You probably haven’t created this
yet - John didn’t either. He let the attendees know that the course wouldn’t be created
for WEEKS.
That’s why you’re going to sell it first to confirm people actually ___________ what
you’re offering.
Based on the ___________ you get from this webinar, you’ll create the content
over the coming weeks and then deliver it to your buyers.
Now, the mindset to have about this webinar is to GO ALL IN.

(7)
JOHN ENDED UP HAVING ABOUT 200 PEOPLE ON THE WEBINAR - AND
SOLD HIS PRODUCT FOR LESS THAN $300. HE DID ABOUT $10,000 IN
SALES IN THE FIRST WEEKEND.
VIDEO IV / YOUR LAUNCH STRATEGY
And right now I want to give you some key pointers in creating your webinar so you’re
set up for success.
You need 4 things to have an amazing webinar:
1: OUTLINE I’m going to outline my 7 Step 7 Figure Webinar Selling Sequence for you to help with
creating a fail-proof webinar outline.
This is a template I created for another one of my courses, 7 Figure Webinars, and is
your roadmap to hosting a successful webinar if you’re not already a pro.
7 step selling sequence:
5 min before Meet and Greet
0-5 minutes Welcome
5-15 minutes Your Story
15-45 minutes Content
45-60 minutes Close
60-75 minutes Q&A
75 minutes Final Thoughts and Goodbye
2: SLIDESI’m also going to give you my webinar slide deck template linked below to create a the
perfect webinar slides.
This template will help you create the perfect webinar slide deck, and it follows my 7
Step 7 Figure Selling Sequence.
Click HERE for the webinar slide deck template!

VIDEO IV / YOUR LAUNCH STRATEGY
3: CONTENTThe way to pitch your webinar for the weekend challenge is that you are hosting a FREE
training on your topic of expertise.
You’ll be teaching some golden nuggets that your audience really wants to know.
This content needs to be educational. You need to give away so much good content,
that people should leave your webinar saying “Wow I would have paid to learn that!”
So make sure the content that you’re offering is worth their time to show up for.
You need to make your content good enough that you could have easily charged money
for it.
4: NOTESIf you are first starting out, you should add notes to your slides. This makes it so much
easier for you. Especially if you’re not 100% confident in your public speakings.
When you’re on a webinar, people don’t see ___________, they just see the
___________.
So it’s easier for you to have notes - if not a full script - which, by the way, is what I used
to do.
I used to get so nervous when doing webinars that in order for me to remember what
I was going to talk about I would write out a script in the notes portion of the slides so
I wouldn’t forget my main talking points.
Now you may be thinking, “But Lewis I’m new to all this and don’t have an online product
yet and don’t even know how I would make a course!”
That is fine.
That’s why we have option 2.

VIDEO IV / YOUR LAUNCH STRATEGY
OPTION 2 - FREE COACHING OR STRATEGY SESSION
Option 2 is to offer free consulting strategy sessions or intro calls with you.
Seth Godin has a great rule to figure out if your idea is good enough to actually invest
in bringing to market. He calls it the “Tell 10 people rule“.
TELL 10 PEOPLE WHAT YOU’RE DOING. IF THEY’RE INTERESTED IN
BUYING YOUR PRODUCT AND THEY TELL 10 PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR
PRODUCT, IT’S A GOOD IDEA.
If they don’t buy your product and/or they don’t recommend your product - go back
to the drawing board.
So, to follow this rule, you’re going to offer free 15 minute consulting sessions on your
area of expertise.
Share it out to your audience on the same platforms you would have promoted a
webinar.
The first 10 people to sign up get it for free.
In these free strategy calls, give people ____________ learn their ____________
see how big of a ____________ your product idea is.
Questions to ask on these calls could be:
What’s your biggest challenge?
Do you have current solution?
Would it be helpful to have coaching or a training program around this?
Would it be something you would invest in?

(10) (11)
(12)
VIDEO IV / YOUR LAUNCH STRATEGY
Now, you’re going to have an offer ready to give them at the end of the call. This can be
whatever works for you. Maybe it’s one on one coaching with you or something you’re
going to create very soon.
If they say no, ask why the offer isn’t for them. This is more great feedback for you.
It’s important you create a call to action. They get to decide whether what you have
given them in the call and what you are offering is what they need right now.
Even if they don’t buy your offer, you can ask them for a testimonial for the value of the
call, which will support you in the long run.
This gives you more results that you can showcase and an opportunity to refine how
you are presenting yourself.
Use the following space to write out any notes or ideas you came up with during this
lesson:

THIS WORKSHEET IS TO HELP YOU DESIGN A SIMPLE FUNNEL FOR YOUR WEEKEND CHALLENGE AND FIGURE OUT WHICH PAYMENT PLATFORM WILL
BE MOST EFFECTIVE FOR YOU.
YOUR SIMPLE FUNNEL
Dig in, because having a funnel setup (no matter how simple) will make your life so
much easier!
Be sure to watch the video for this lesson, as some of the answers you need are given
by Lewis!
The next step is setting up the way people are going to pay you. Depending on where
you’re at in your business, there are several ways to do this.
Beginners: Offer the easiest solution you can.
Paypal is what I used when I first started out, and now there are amazing apps like
Quickpay, Venmo, and Square Cash that link directly to your bank account - so any
payment made you’ll see immediately.
There are also a couple of sites that do most of the work for you if you’re creating an
online course. Kajabi, Thinkific, and Teachable all let you create the entire course on
their site and have a shopping cart all built out for you.
I’ve also used Zippy Courses to create some of my online programs that I wanted
more control of how it looked and how I sold it.

Whatever you choose, keep it simple and don’t overcomplicate your weekend by
spending all your time learning a new software.
Intermediate:
If you have an existing product and just need a way to collect cash for it, I recommend
a few services. I use LeadPages to create a sales page, which then links to a SamCart
page (SamCart is a great payment portal that is easy to setup and easy for clients to
use.) Stripe is another awesome payment processor - where the money actually gets
transferred from their account to yours.
Once you have a way for people to pay you, you’re almost there.
Here’s a simple breakdown of the course hosting and creation websites mentioned
above:

THIS WORKSHEET IS TO HELP YOU DIVE INTO YOUR $2K WEEKEND CHALLENGE!
YOUR 2K WEEKEND CHALLENGE
Be sure to watch the video for this lesson, as some of the answers you need are given
by Lewis!
The best thing John talked about when he was doing his weekend challenge were a
coach and community. You have both of these things in the Legacy Program. And you
also have the accountability of being here.
This week there is no time to waste. It’s time to get right into promotion.
I hope you already picked your launch strategy, because now you have to focus on
promotion and getting new potential customers.
There are so many things you can do to promote your webinar OR your free strategy
sessions:
1. Email campaign - If you already have a ____________ email list of followers,
or if you have existing relationships with people who have email lists that they would
let you promote to, this is a great option.
2. Live Facebook broadcast/Periscope - If you’re really into social media already and
have a good amount of followers, host a Live Facebook chat or a Periscope session.

3. Video/blog post - Maybe you’re an ____________ blogger or YouTuber. Then
you can craft a great blog post or make a video announcing your offering.
4. Paid Advertising - If you have some cash to spend, I’m a big fan of paid promotion
to whatever you decide to host. You have a couple of options here:
Remember, this is about taking action, getting results, and stretching yourself. It can be
as fun as you want it to be, but it’s really important for you to take this on completely.
Too often entrepreneurs get stuck in their heads and freeze up with analysis paralysis.
I purposely have set this challenge for you at the beginning of the course for you to
prove to yourself that you can get valuable results by taking action.
You have the next 4 days to promote and complete this challenge.
IF YOU MAKE OVER $2,000 IN THIS WEEKEND, YOUR NAME WILL BE
ENTERED INTO A LOTTERY TO HAVE A FREE COACHING CALL WITH ME.
Facebook ads are great for this and you can either record a short video or create
a great photo with a description of what you’re offering. The real bonus here is
that you can target these ads very specifically to the kind of audience you are
appealing to.
The other option is to buy a sponsored post on a sponsored page. Essentially you
are going to be using someone else’s audience to grow your own audience. This
works well if you already know some pages that offer this and your audience is
already going there.
You also have the option to leverage affiliates if you have those relationships set
up already. Ask them to promote you for this specific event or pay them up front.
