DESCRIPTION

This series of images is a movement through the imagination and reality in the form of make-believe movie posters and corresponding charts. The flow of these documents is sketchy at best but I tried my hardest on what I was doing. The first poster is of a poem, Funeral Music by Geoffrey Hill, being sucked away into a language game of some sort, clever stuff. The related graph is about whether one should right a poem and is quite cheeky. The second is about Reddit and the growth of subreddits as the advent of Reddit as the "front page" of the internet is upon us. The third is the idea of dating bots, who one might be talking to, and how that relates to modern stats on Ashley Madison. This whole thing is a heap but I worked on it longer than it looks, ie. it looks really bad but took me a long time to actually make something this bad. I like at least the look of the first movie poster with the red and blue which kind of reminds me of old book covers with simple coloring and themes.
