Application areaThe Thermozone AC 200 air curtains are intendedfor permanent installation above entrance andsmaller doors up to 2,5 metres. The efficiency ofthe curtains is dependent on the size of load onthe door in question.

The Thermozone AC 200 is supplied with orwithout heating element and is mounted abovethe entrance. The unit can also be installed infalse ceilings. In order to obtain the best efficiency,the air curtains should cover the whole width of theopening.

OperationThe air is drawn in from the front of the unit and isblown out downwards so that it screens the dooropening and minimises any heat leakage.

The air speed is adjusted in two stages using thespeed selector and the electric heat, if any, in twostages.

NOTE! Negative pressure in the buildingconsiderably reduces the efficiency of the aircurtain. The ventilation should therefore bebalanced!

AssemblyThe units may only be installed horizontally with adownward output air direction. Several units canbe mounted next to each other when wide dooropenings occur. The units can be mounted as closeto the ceiling as possible. Regarding otherdimensions and minimum assembly distances,please see Page 2. NOTE! All 1.5 m wide unitsmust be fixed using the three points of attachment(on each end and in the middle), when suspendedfrom the ceiling or mounted on the wall.a) Fitted on the wall or beam• The Thermozone is to be suspended on the

2 / 3 keyhole slots on the rear of the unit.Suitable bolts can be M6S or M6. NOTE! Theunit must be secured using the suppliedlocking strip if fitted using the keyhole slots.The brackets can be fitted either facingupwards or downwards, see Page 2.

• The Thermozone can be bolted direct to thewall/beam. For this application, there are 4 / 6M6 bolts on the rear of the unit, see fig. 3.

b) Suspension with drop rods• For pendulum fixing there are 4 / 6 M6 bolts

on the top of the unit with paired c/c distanceof 100 mm, see fig. 2. Brackets for pendulumfixing are available as accessories.

On the upper side of the unit there are knock-outs,2 pcs ø 29 and 4 pcs ø 23. The cable-glands usedmust guarantee the protection class requirements!For units with electrical heating, the power andvoltage should be supplied in different connectionareas. NOTE! The heating power voltage shouldbe connected in two different places, in the middleand to the right (see wiring diagram).

In the distribution board it is to be indicated that”the air curtains can be supplied from more thanone connection”.

Security• Ensure that the area around the intake and

exhaust grille is kept free from material whichcould prevent the air to flow through the unit!

• During operation the surfaces of the unit arehot!

• The unit must not be covered fully orpartially with clothes or similar materials,as overheating can result in a fire risk!

OverheatingThe Thermozone is equipped with two overheatprotectors, one for each motor. If one is releaseddue to overheating, reset as follows:a) Disconnect the electricity with the fully

isolated switch.b) Investigate the matter and repair the fault.c) Reset is performed as follows:

• Dismount the front plate.• Find the red button located beneath the

terminal block on the right side of the unit.• Press the red button until a click is heard.

d) Connect the Thermozone again.

Electrical installationThe electrical installation should be carried out bya qualified electrician in conformity with prevailingregulations. The appliance should be preceded bya triple pole switch with at least 3 mm breakinggap. The front plate has to be dismounted to reachthe connection area. See wiring diagram forconnection. The connection should be made witha cable type S05VV-U, A05VV-R or similar.

MaintenanceThe fan motors and the other components requireno maintenance other than cleaning whennecessary, however at least once year. To clean thegrille, use a humid cloth after the electricity hasbeen disconnected. Remove the grille tovacuumclean the elements.
