2 Engineering Specifications
1.TheORPsensorshallbeofDifferentialElectrodeTechniquedesignusingtwoelectrodestocomparetheprocessvaluetoastableinternalreferencesolution.Thestandardelectrodeshallhavenon-flowingandfouling-resistantcharacteristics.
2.Thesensorshallhavehex-shapedwrenchflatstofacilitatemounting,andshallbeconstructedofamaterialwithexceptionalchemicalresistanceandmechanicalstrength.Thismaterialshallenablethesensortobeinstalledinmetalfittingswithoutleakageusuallycausedbyheatingandcoolingcycleswhendissimilarmaterialsarethreadedtogether.
3.Thesensorshallhaveinterchangeable,pre-calibratedplug-insensorheadsandcommunicationsadaptersthatcanbeinstalledwithoutpoweringdownthesystem.
4.Thesensorshallhave1inchNPTthreadsonbothendstomountintoastandard1inchpipetee,a1.5inchunionmounting,orimmersionhardware.
5.Thebuilt-inelectronicsofthesensorshallbecompletelyencapsulatedandO-ringsealedforprotectionfrommoistureandhumidity.
6.Thesensorshallhaveabuilt-inpre-amplifier,universalsignalconditioningelectronics,universalengineering
unitsconversion,andinteractivecommunicationswithahostcomputerordisplayinterfaceusingoneofseveralprotocolsincludingModbus®RTU,DeviceNet™,PROFIBUS™,USB,CANopenorEthernet.
7.Thesensorshallhaveanintegraltemperaturesensortomeasuretemperatureindependently.
8.Thesensorshallincludeatitaniumgroundelectrode(standard)toeliminategroundloopcurrentsinthemeasuringelectrode.
9.ThesensorshallbeThermoScientificAquaSensorsORPDataStick.
