Then and Now(in no particular order!)

Janet Williams Davies has lived in Lake George, NY since 1969 with her husband James Davies (Rutgers Law Camden).       Their son Jim, a Cognitive Science Professor at Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, is married to Vanessa, a Canadian attorney.   He recently published his first book Riveted: The Science of Why Jokes Make Us Laugh, Movies Make Us Cry and Religion Makes Us Feel One with the Universe.     Daughter Johannah lives in Lake George NY with her husband  Anthony and their three sons. She has published a novel Catcher's Keeper under her pen name of JD Spero.Janet retired after 27 years as an English teacher and is still acting and directing professionally.  She winters in Florida where she founded Theatre of the Mind at Art Center Sarasota.

The Beginning: GCHS Sophmore Year - Sadie Hawkins Dance (not each other’s date!) ... dated thru high school till 1967.The Middle: Bud - married, two children ... after the Navy finished college at LaSalle, then on to Trenton State for his Masters in Education. Bud had a career at Gloucester High as Director of the Special Ed Department and during those years coached Track and Freshman Basketball - also in business with a partner running a US Mail Contract delivering bulk mail.Claire - married, one child ... worked as a secretary/administrative assistant over the years at a publishing company, an advertising agency, a law firm, and union.The Present: Claire widowed, Bud divorced - and not having seen each other for 30 years, reconnected in 1996 and (surprise!) married in 1998 ... Bud retired from Gloucester High after 34 years, but still runs his Mail Business, Claire (still secretarial) works 3 days/week. We each have a daughter named Christine, and Bud has one son, Phil ... and we have 4 grandchildren who have absolutely stolen our hearts. We are blessed.

Update info:  I live in Blackwood, NJ with my husband and am still working as Principal's Secretary at Glendora Elementary.  Hopefully will retire in about two years!  I have six children and nine grandchildren with #10 due next April.  One "fun" thing I did along the way of life was appear on QVC national TV with Leslie Sansone several times.  Also, made a couple of exercise videos with her "Walk Away the Pounds" at NJN studios!  That was a lot of fun!!  Can't say I lost alot of pounds, though!!!

THEN:  Jim and I started dating Easter of 1962.  Our senior prom picture.  We double dated with Mary Hogan and Billy Reinhart.  After graduating from Our Lady of Lourdes Nursing School, I worked in Pediatrics at West Jersey Hospital in Camden.  We married on June1, 1968.  We have 2 daughters:  Kristine and Adrienne.  We have 5 grandchildren:  4 girls and 1 boy, ages 3 to 15.

NOW:  Jim and I both retired June of 2005.  He had been a teacher for 37 years and retired from Medford Lakes School District.  I retired after 25 years as a school nurse from Haddon Township School District.  We enjoy our condo in Ocean City, traveling, listening to a ton of live music and don't know how we ever had time to work.

JIM McFALLS

Just out of college, I taught 6th grade in the Camden City schools while getting a master's in Psychology at night.

After a few years I became a social worker for DYFS doing child abuse investigations.

A few years later, I became a therapist specializing in Family Therapy in a Camden clinic. During that time I also received a certification in Family Therapy through the Family Institute in Philadelphia.

I then took a position as clinical director of an agency in NJ that helped people living in psychiatric hospitals move back in to community settings.

My next position was as a Behavior Therapist with a company in Philadelphia working with people with Intellectual Disabilities who were moving out of institutions. After a few years I became the clinical director there. During this time I was also attending NYU for a Ph.D in Psychology on nights and weekends.

From there, I took a job with a large agency that provided services and supports to people with ID / Autism. I have been with that company for the last 33 years and am currently the CEO there. I also have my own private practice in Psychology, and am an adjunct professor at St. Joseph's University. I plan on retiring at the end of 2016.

Two marriages (but only1 divorce), 3 successful children, numerous dogs and cats, houses and soccer games. Too many personal losses of family and friends but innumerable wonderful experiences that make life worth living. Who would've thunk all this 50 years ago?

Hi !!!! Can't wait to see everyone on Oct. 11th. I don't have any then photos, except for my yearbook one, but I'm going to try to send a now photo or two.I taught school for 5 yrs., then got married in 1969. I had 1 son and was a stay at home mom for 13 years. After my divorce, I put myself thru nursing school and worked in cardiology and psyche, along with detox and rehab for 18 years. My son lives in Washington DC and is Dean of Education and admissions at The Lab School, which is a private school for learning disabled children. He got his undergrad degree from Ursinus College, 2 Masters degrees at Columbia, then went on to get his Doctorate in Education and Learning Disabilities. I am recently engaged and will be getting married in May to a wonderful man. I am retired and love being footloose and fancy free.Nancy Krown Lane :-)

After our graduation, I went to Holy Cross on an Navy ROTC scholarship and graduated in 1968 with a B.A. in English summa cum laude. My nurse wife Pat, who was from Bellmawr and was my girlfriend from my freshman year in college, was the Holy Cross homecoming queen during my senior year there. Pat and I got married in October 1968 after I finished Navy communications school, and we then spent time on the West and East Coasts while I served on a nuclear-powered guide missile cruiser (with a Vietnam deployment) and an amphibious dock landing ship. After this sea duty, we moved to Annapolis where I taught English at the U.S. Naval Academy for five years. While at the Academy, I attended law school at night at Georgetown University in Washington and received my law degree in May 1977. I left the Navy in July 1977 and Pat and I moved back to New Jersey where I worked as a civil litigator for five years at Dechert Price and Rhoads, a large Philadelphia law firm. In 1982 I joined Bell of Pennsylvania as a rate case attorney just before the AT&T divestiture in early 1984, and spent the next 30 years as a regulatory lawyer for Bell as telecommunications technology and regulation went through sea changes, and the local Bell name changed to Bell Atlantic-Pennsylvania and now Verizon Pennsylvania. I retired from Verizon in 2012 and since then have been working as a volunteer English as a Second Language tutor for the Philadelphia Center for Literacy. Pat continued her career as an R.N. between stints of childraising and then shifted careers to become the co-owner of Everlastings of Haddonfield, a bridal flower preservation shop, which she subsequently converted into a home-based business until retiring this year. Pat and I have four children, all of whom are now firmly established in successful careers, and 11 beautiful grandchildren (including two sets of twins!).

EVELYN CORDEROI have been married almost 40 Yrs. to Kenneth Mahoney.I graduated from Glassboro State College and taught for almost 30 years in Pennsauken. I took a ten year break from teaching at the beginning of mycareer when I had my children. Ken & I have 2 children-Kelly & Sean. They went to St Charles Elementary and Holy Cross High school in Burlington County. Our daughter Kelly went to Philadelphia University for Business and 5 yrs. later went for her Masters in Education to Holy Name College. She is currently teaching in Burlington City.Our son, Sean went to Rowan University and graduated as a Physical Education Teacher. His wife Lauren is a teacher in Lindenwold.Both children are married and live in Burlington County. They each have 2 children- Boy & Girl each.I'm retired now and so is my husband.About 10 yrs ago my husband and I started riding a motorcycle. We visited the Southwest , Florida and Myrtle Beach on it. When not on the motorcycle we like to go to the shore. We have a year round apartment in Ocean city, NJ.I'm a member of a Red Hat Club, volunteer at the Walnut, belong to the Ladies of Harley and of course babysit my grandkids!

Hello GCHS Senior Class of 1964It is wonderful that so many of our classmates are getting together to celebrate 50 years since our graduation from GCHS. I am sure it will be a great time. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend but I look forward to seeing pictures of you all. My wife and I are happily retired in Tampa, Florida. After graduating from LaSalle in 1968 I joined the Air Force and spent the next 25 years flying airplanes as a pilot and living most of my career in various countries in Europe and Asia. I left the Air Force in 1993 and then worked for DOD contractors until I retired in 2009. Our two boys, J and Brandon, also live in the Tampa area. Where life has taken me:  In 1968 I married and moved to Maryland due to my first husband’s job in Washington, DC.  At that time I worked at the University of Maryland.  I have two daughters, Judy and Kathy, both were born in Washington, DC.  We moved back to NJ to live in Milltown, NJ in the mid-70's at which time I worked at Rutgers University in New Brunswick and in Piscataway, NJ.  In 1983 we moved to Greensboro, NC, where I am still living.  My positions here were with Pace Communications a magazine publishing company, EcoLab a chemical company, and Senn Dunn Marsh & Roland a large insurance firm.My Daughters are Judith (Judy) Earley Revels, and Kathleen (Kathy) Earley Caviness.  Judy is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.  Kathy is a graduate of the University of NC Greensboro with a degree in Parks & Recreation Management.Judy now lives in Florida with her husband Bart and their children Kate, Emma, and Addison, three of my granddaughters.Kathy lives here in Greensboro with her husband Sean and their children Will, Kieryn, and Cameron, three more of my grandchildren.  Her son Justin is at the University of NC Asheville.  That makes seven grandchildren for me.My husband Ron Edmondson has a daughter Kelly and grandson Blake, and his son Eric has two children Ethan and Ava.So combined we have a total of 10 grandchildren.We are both retired and enjoy traveling and spending time at our second home in North Myrtle Beach, SC.  I still love to dance and Ron loves his golf.

Bob and Marsha (Davis) Leo send a warm hello to all of you! We are sorry to miss the 50th GCHS Class Reunion, and all of you. Has it really been 50 years? It doesn't seem possible to be that long!

We will try to condense 50 years of life into a brief bio update ...

We began our married life together, following our graduations; Bob from Villanova in Electrical Engineering; and Marsha from Rutgers in Medical Technology, in 1969. We moved to Binghamton, N.Y. where Bob started his career with IBM. We had three children: Aimee, Carrie, and Bobby.

During our time in Binghamton we found a spiritual path that has been very important to both of us for the last 39 years. In Eckankar, we have shared an understanding and love for Divine Spirit that has given us a journey through life that is nothing short of a miracle.

Also, during the 10 years in Binghamton we developed a yearning for warm sunny weather and summers longer than 6 weeks. Marsha's dreams came true when IBM moved us to the sunny south. We had 28 wonderful years in Charlotte, N.C.

While in Charlotte Bob had a rewarding career with IBM. On retirement from IBM he spent 5 more years in management with Bank of America. Marsha spent the first 20 years as Mom and homemaker before starting her career, first in the laboratory at

Carolinas HealthCare System, and later as supervisor of the drug and alcohol testing program for CHS.

During this time all three of our kids found the loves of their life, married, and set off on their own adventures. We now have two wonderful granddaughters and five furry grand -dogs. Oh yes, and one furry feral grand-cat we're not too fond of!

Even sunny, warm, Charlotte began to have longer and longer winters—on vacation in January of 2004, in Ft. Myers, Florida, just after we both retired, we made the big leap to beaches and palm trees! We have loved every minute in the last 10 years here in Ft. Myers. With good friends, family, team tennis, walking beaches, biking, travelling, and cruising—life is always an adventure!

We are very grateful for each new day together and the many lessons we can learn from each other!

The family picture is one that was taken three years ago when we were all gathered for the wedding of one of our daughters. Bill and I have been married 46 years, have been blessed with six children (five daughters and a son) and ten grandchildren (four have been born since the family picture).

After leaving high school, Woody and Ann followed different paths - for 45 years. Then one day, they met at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital while visiting two different patients. Leaving the elevator on the way out, Woody said, “Are you Ann Grayo?”, and Ann thought “Who’s this who knows me by my maiden name?” Following ‘introductions’, a half hour conversation ensued in the front of the hospital. Dating began and after a 4 year courtship, they were married in September 2012. Woody is the father of six children and grandfather of five. Ann has one son, Daniel Orbanus, and one step-daughter. She’s grandmother to two grandsons and three granddaughters. Both Woody and Ann are retired and live inGloucester Township, NJ most of the year. They enjoy winters at their home in Port St. Lucie, FL. Life is Good!
