To Clarify Sequence and Timing

"To those who urged from the scripture, 'Of that day and hour knoweth no man,' that men are to know nothing concerning the nearness of the advent, Wolff replied: 'Did our Lord say that the day and hour should never be known? Did he not give us signs of the times, in order that we may know at least the approach of his coming, as one knows the approach of summer by the fig-tree putting forth its leaves? Are we never to know that period, whilst he himself exhorteth not only to read Daniel the prophet but to understand him? And in that very Daniel where it is said that the words were shut up to the time of the end (which was the case in his time), and that ‘many shall run to and fro’ (a Hebrew expression for observing and thinking upon the time), and 'knowledge' (regarding that time) ‘shall be increased.’ Besides this, our Lord does not intend to say by this, that the approach of the time shall not be known, but that the exact ‘day and hour knoweth no man.’ He does say that enough shall be known by the signs of the times, to induce us to prepare for his coming, as Noah prepared the ark.'”-The Great Controversy, page 359 & 360

Revelation 16:15 "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." [Jesus pronounces a blessing on those that are watching for him. He also expresses that if you do not watch for His return, you will be surprised at His coming.]

I Thessalonians 5:4-6 "But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober." [We are not to be surprised at Jesus' return. We have been given information that will show us when to expect Him so we are to be alert and pay attention to these matters.]

• It is amazing that a gap isn't seen because of the 2300-year prophecy in 8:14!

• Before the 70 weeks began, God anticipated Israel's failure by giving that 2300-year prophecy.• This in itself shows that Daniel 9:24 would never be completed by Israel of old and a gap was going to occur!• Some expositors say that this is why Daniel fainted; he was shocked that Israel would reject the messiah and time would go on so long.

• The 70 week prophecy relates to that of the sealed (Chazown) vision?• Daniel 9:24 "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon the holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy."

• Looking at verse 24, "Seventy weeks are determined (Hebrew, hatak)...":•hatak; a primitive root; properly, to cut off, i.e. (figuratively) to decree:--determine.

•only place in the Bible plus ten post-Biblical Jewish sources•nine times "cut-off" one time "to decree"•The meaning of the roots of Hebrew words generally developed from concrete "cut" to abstract "decree." It is not clear that this has taken place by the time of Daniel.

•Thus the linguistic evidence-both the root meaning and the dominant usage-favors the meaning of "to cut" here in Daniel 9:24. The seventy weeks are to be cut off from another and it has to be a longer, period of time. • The fact that she is clarifying the definition of the week that the messiah is cut off in the middle of, reveals that the week was never completed and the prophecy was not fulfilled. If the prophecy was fulfilled and the 70th week completed, then why does she feel the need to clarify and / define the week that Jesus would be sacrificed.

• She never stated that the 70 week prophecy was fulfilled and/or completed.

"As early as 1842 the direction given in this prophecy to 'write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it,' had suggested to Charles Fitch the preparation of a prophetic chart to illustrate the visions of Daniel and the Revelation. The publication of this chart was regarded as a fulfillment of the command given by Habakkuk. No one, however, then noticed than an apparent delay in the accomplishment of the vision--a tarrying time--is presented in the same prophecy. I then saw the word of God pure and unadulterated, and that we must answer for the way we received the truth proclaimed from that word. I saw that it had been a hammer to break the flinty heart in pieces, and a fire to consume the dross and tin, that the heart might be pure and holy. I saw that the Apocrypha [secret information] was the hidden book, and that the wise of these last days should understand it. I saw that the Bible was the standard book, that will judge us at the last day. We now know, especially at Bell Research Laboratory, that the appointed time is right upon

us and that the "interwoven" "hidden book" information with the Biblical prophecies Ellen White

spoke of IS the Bible Code.

Ellen G. White Reveals That Encoded Information Exists Within The Holy Bible (3rd Example: The Hidden Book Cont.)

NOTE: Ellen is simply saying that the hidden book IS there when the Bible is looked at from one perspective and IS NOT there when the text of the Bible is looked at from another (the traditional) perspective as evidenced when she held the Bible at a 45° angle. Looking at the Bible from an Equidistant Letter Sequence (ELS) perspective, IS the correct perspective / angle to which Ellen is referring that allows the "wise of these last days" to read and understand the hidden book. Below is a photograph of the actual Bible that

she held at arms length for over 30 minutes. On top of it is a regular sized Bible.

Looking at the surface / plain text of the Bible that lies just above each of the Hebrew characters, we see that there is a connection with appropriate topics:

The Three and One Half Years-The Connection(All are Literal Days)

Persecution/Death of Some in the Great Multitude: Daniel 7:25 "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time." Revelation 11:2 "But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months."

Protection of the 144,000: Revelation 12:6 "And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days." Revelation 12:14 "And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent."

Great Multitude & the 144,000 Spread 3rd Angels Message: Daniel 12:7 "And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished."
