rools• Rule’s are very important in the game

of soccer. the first important rule is off sides. Off sides may not apply to fifth graders or any one younger. Off sides is where you cant go past the other teams last defense player. These rules don’t apply to the defender as long as your on your side of the field. If you do go off sides the other team will get a free kick where you went passed the last defender. If you kick the ball out of the field lines, the other team will either throw it in, have it be a corner kick or a goal kick . for a through in you must have your foot not leave the ground and your hands must go behind your head. The corner kick is where you kick it out near the corner than kick it in. a goal kick is where you kick it out and the other team will put it on the corner of the little goalie box than kick it.

Positions for starting• For starting the game your coach will

tell you where to start on the field. Goalie is the one who can only PICK UP the ball in the two boxes. Defense starts on the out side of the big goalie box. Mid field is a little in front of defense. Forward starts around the big circle in the front.

Penalty's • Penalty’s are where you or the other team

gets in trouble and there is a consequence. For example if you push someone front behind or pushes them down. Your team/there team will have the other team kick a penalty kick where the collision happened. The other penalty's you may receive is a yellow card which is where you get a warning or have to sit out the rest of the other/ rest of the game. An red card is where you kick someone really hard, grab them, or punch them. A red card gets you taken out of the game and you are unable to play for the next game or two. Two yellow cards gets you taken out of the game
