IGLESIA DE CRISTO EN EDMOND
Our Spanish-speaking ministry started in 2006 to reach the growing Hispanic community in Edmond. We have moved out of the trailer and have been meeting in the Youth Wing for one year now. Besides regular Bible classes and service times, we host a weekly teen Bible study, a weekly VBS-like activity, monthly family devotionals and a monthly birthday potluck. (The Sojourner’s class joined us for our August potluck.) We will also host an area-wide worship in November. Minister, Tony Sepulveda, recently attended Reunión Nacional de Predicadores in Benton, AR, where 120 Hispanic preachers and church leaders came together for Bible study, singing, prayer and fellowship. We are encouraged and excited by the many college students who come and worship with us. We welcome you to come visit us at Bible class or worship. If you are interested in joining us for a potluck or helping with the Spanish-speaking ministry you can contact Tony Sepulveda or David Waldo.

ATTENDANCE REPORT: August 24, 2014
Ministering to university-aged young people has been a priority of the Edmond Church of Christ for a long time. Understanding that these are crucial years of faith formation, we want to do everything we can to help young men and young women to develop and sustain a faith that will last forever.
There is a lot of momentum in the campus ministry now that the school year has begun for all of our area colleges and universities (OC, UCO, Rose State, OCCC). Our students are so excited to be back here and to be part of such a loving, generous church family.
This is a place that students come to be accepted, to be challenged, and to be equipped for service. The students are looking forward to being a part of the church, getting to know us, and to working alongside us in ministry. The first big opportunity to fellowship together will be next Sunday evening, after worship, at the Church-Wide Ice Cream Fellowship. Make plans to be here and to welcome back our students!
And of course, please pray for our students as they begin another academic year. God is at work on our campuses, and He is working among and through our students.
