BECOME THE FEET
And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?
As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Romans 10:15
MISSIONARY CARE
Have you noticed the new Missionary Care bulletin board in the foyer? The board reminds us of the many missionaries we financially support. It is also a reminder that often times our missionaries need more than financial support - they need to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers. They need to know that we appreciate the hard work that they have undertaken.
On the bulletin board are tags with each missionary’s name. You and your family can take a tag, pray for the missionary and send them a note or care package. If you need ideas of what to send you can contact Audrey Mauck.

ATTENDANCE REPORT: October 5, 2014
O n e o f t h e g r e a t blessings of working with the campus ministry is the opportunity to be a part of mission trips. For many years, our college students have traveled all over the world to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the Creating Space GO initiative, many more in the church have also been able to do missions. We have experienced in the short term what it means to be completely devoted to the mission of God. We come home wanting to continue living in this way, but almost invariably we get distracted or disheartened or we’re just not sure what to do or how to do it.
Mission Edmond is an opportunity for us to harness the energy and enthusiasm of those mission experiences, and to focus on the local scale, among our own, in our own community.
This fall break, we will serve alongside each other as we share the love and message of Jesus throughout our community. Already, over 100 people will be part of this 2014 “pilot” effort. It’s going to be an exciting, work-filledextendedweekend.
P lease pray fo r those who are participating, and for those with whom we will work. Make plans to be part of Mission Edmond in 2015.
