PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Happy Summer vacation to you all! We would
like to thank you, one last time, officially, for
all support this year. So much of the great
things we get to do here each day is because
of the extra time you put in for your child.
Either at the breakfast program, PAC events,
in the classrooms, on fieldtrips, sharing feed-
back…every bit helps and it is appreciated.
We want to wish you all a safe and exciting,
or totally calm, summer-whichever you are
aiming for. To our Grade 7 families, all the
best to you as high school parents! To return-
ing families, we are looking forward to an
amazing school year in September! Thank
you! Emote! Merci!

A big thank you to all of our parent volun-
teers this year!
From running the Breakfast Pro-
gram, to organizing Fundraisers,
to attending PAC meetings,
and everything in between - our
students are incredibly lucky to
have such a fantastic parent
group.
We are still looking for a PAC President -
someone who oversees PAC activities and
runs PAC meetings. If you are interested in
more information, or to apply for this role,

MOVING????
If you are moving out of town, or are planning
on a change of school for the upcoming school
year, please let us know as soon as possible.
This will greatly assist us in our planning!
Registration Information
for 2017-2018….
The Deadline has passed for General Registration
for the 2017-2018 school year….
If you would like your child(ren) to attend James Thomson,
please register in person at the School Board Office,
located at 4351 Ontario Ave.
However, as we have passed the deadline, families will not
be guaranteed the school of their choice. Please register as soon as possible to avoid
disappointment.
Bussing…
If your child requires bussing for the 2017/18
school year, please reapply online at
https://forms.sd47.bc.ca He or she may continue
using their current bus pass if they will remain
on the same route next year.
Please note: if your child loses his or her bus
pass, there may be a $5 replacement fee for the
upcoming school year—guard them carefully!
