My project Aim To identify the opportunities for developing
tourism in Charin canyon The value of the problem Improving
conditions for tourists in Charin Canyon will promote to develop
the National Park. The practical importance The advices and
suggestions might change the current situation for the better.
Hypothesis If we make the acceptable conditions for visitors, the
number of tourists will rise

WHAT IS CANYON? The word canyon descended from the Spanish word
can. In translation it means gorge or tube. Now we call a deep
river vale with very steep slopes and a narrow bottom a
canyon.

GRAND CANYON Grand canyon the biggest and the most beautiful
canyon in the world. It is in the USA, Arizona state. Length 446
km, breath 6-29 km, depth 1,6 km. 5.000.000 people visit this
canyon every year! And the temperature in Grand Canyon reaches to
46C!

The second large and beautiful canyon Charin canyon in
Kazakhstan. It is a miniature of Grand canyon in the USA. Its
length is 154 km, breath 2 km, depth 200-300 meters. The age
12.000.000 years. The canyon belongs to the territory of national

CONVERSATION WITH VISITOR THE MAIN PROBLEMS People bury
garbage. When people set campfires, they cut down rare trees.
Therere no tourist centers. Theres no medical help The tours to the
canyon are only in Almaty. The work staff doesnt perform their
duties.

PRACTICAL PART

ROCKS OF THE CANYON Siltstone - fragmental debris, which have
formed at the result of the lithification of alevrit. Gravelite is
a conglomerate, with the siltstone and sand admixture. Gravelites
are mainstream device from the sedimentary rocks. For example,
limestone which has a sedimentary rock organic origin. It formed by
decomposition living organisms in the basins. Also its name is
coquina. Gritstone is a sedimentary conglomerate, which formed by
destruction rocks, and transportation debris by water or wind.

Therere 3 observation decks in the canyon. From decks you can
enjoy the beautiful view. Therere some old indicators: Lowering to
the river, Parking, Viewing and Buffer zone.
