The Great Bear Lake is the biggest lake in Canada. The Sub Arctic Indians live where there’s flat frozen land all year long.

The animals in the Sub Arctic region are bear and moose.

Another large animal is caribou.

It is very cold in the Arctic region in winter.

The climate is around –50 degrees Fahrenheit.

In summer it’s around 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

Sub Arctic Indians eat moose, caribou, and salmon.

They also eat bears, fish, beavers, and berries.
