The Mammoth Track

On the way we found some woolly mammoth fur.

We also found some foot prints.

This is where it stood

This is me holding wolly mammoth fur. It was really soft

It was really tiring going up the steep hill.I felt like I was going to die

It got a bit scared when I saw the bisons.

This is a bison close up.

The view was beautiful.

We finally got to the top and reached the mammoth.

Morning Tea

Reiner showed us how to skin a rabbit.

I realised it wasn’t that bad.

It was really disgusting.

When we gutted it we saw the heart, lungs and other things that’s in its body.

This is a picture of it without its skin on close up.

We finally got started. I pulled off the skin. It felt wet. I nearly spewed up because of the blood and intestines ad those other things but luckily I didn’t.

When we finished gutting the rabbit, it looked liked this.

Lunch

These are the dogs Poppy and Unser.

Shae taught us how to use the flint.

Before we started the fire, we had to go and collect twigs, wood, dry grass and cabbage tree leaves.

I DID NOT LIKE THE SMOKE!

We put them in the fire.

It was hard to throw the spear at the moving target.

IT WAS FUN!
