Once upon a time their lived a couple with the most beautiful girl in the kingdom,every man in longed for her including the king. The kings decision to marry thisgirl alarmed all those who wanted to marry the kingdom beauty. They decided togive up and leave the king alone to contest for the girl.

After some time the king sent his most trusted official to the girls home to bringher to the palace. The official was highly welcomed by the girls parents, they toldthe girl to prepare food for the official which she did well, and the food wasdelicious that the official ate a lot of food and forgot what taken him to the girlshome.

Reaching the palace the king asked the official for the girl he ordered for, onknowing that that he failed to come with her the king ordered for the officialsdismissal and excommunication from the palace.

He sent another official he trusted too, for this on it was worse, because he atemore than what the first official ate. He also for got what took her their and cameback to the palace empty handed, this irritated the king and he ordered for hisdismissal too.

Other seven officials the king sent behaved in the same manner which forcedhim to surrender from marring the kingdom beauty because he ended updismissing most of his good officials hence reducing in number.

When the kakookolo heard of the story that king failed to marry because ofunserious officials it promised to bring the girl to the palace, one morning itsmartly went to the girls home where it was respectfully welcomed and hosted, it

was also given the same food like the other ten (10) officials but for it knew whattook it their and ate little food.After eating it lit its smocking pipe later it put it down on the mat and leftpretending to have forgotten it.

The girls parents saw it and sent the beautiful girl to take to the Kakookolo whichshe later saw and called when singing;

The Kakookolo replied in a melodious way that;

Bring it to me Maama bring it to meHe who goes with the most beautiful doesnt tell any.

When ever she could reach the Kakookolo, it could move far forward until theyreached the palace. The king was very appeased by the Kakookolo. He gave it alot of things including Land, women, food, cows, and servants to mention but afew they were very many. By the time I left kakookolo was very happy!

MORAL LESSON FROM THE STORY

The story holds a lot of moral lessons just like most African stories, and thefollowing are the lessons;

The story teaches responsibility to the reader or listener. if you have been sentsome ware for some thing you should stick on it and make sure you finish it, butnot like the officials who where taken away by food.

It teaches to have self control, all the kings officials lacked self control thats whythey ate a lot and failed to do what the king had commanded them to do, exceptthe Kakookolo which ate little food.

just like how the kakookolo did, a normal human being should have ability think

above the expected level, if the kakookolo failed to trick the girls family with thesmocking pipe it wouldnt succeed in taking the girl to the king.
