Christian music legend, David Meece, describes a “tremendous urgency” to “get the Gospel out to as many people as possible.” The renowned musician will be in concert November 1st at 7 p.m. at New Hope Wesleyan Church, 721 West 26th Street in Williston. With record sales in the millions, Meece is the composer of modern day Christian classics such as “We Are the Reason,” Forgiven,” “Unknown Soldier,” “Learning to Trust,” and “My Father’s Chair.” He composed the Christmas classic “One Small Child” at the age of 14, having begun touring as a concert pianist at age 10.

Meece is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, where he was a scholarship student. He says, “Obeying God is where it’s at. I am convinced that there has been a tremendous urgency placed upon my life by the Holy Spirit to get the Gospel out to as many people as possible. I’m convinced Jesus is coming back very soon.”
