Every year,Joel’s family puts a letter to himin a local paper (first the WillistonHerald, now The Shopper). Wewant him and the community toknow that we know Joel is still outthere somewhere. We can’t sayenough about the people of thiscommunity. From the volunteerswho assisted with the search tothe people who brought food andsupplies to those who prayed forJoel, our family, and for ourcommunity, we have been touchedin ways we never thoughtpossible. On behalf of our family,we would like to say thank you toeach and everyone of you. To Joelwe would like to say this: comehome. It no longer matters why youleft. You have your reasons.Whatever those are, please knowthis. We forgive you. We love you.And we will never, ever stopsearching for you. I have movedagain, and am now in SouthDakota. I am engaged to awonderful woman, and we wantyou to be in our wedding party.
