MISSION STATEMENT
We empower children and families to lead responsible lives
and develop healthy and meaningful
relationships built on faith, hope, and love.
HFI ELEVATOR SPEECH – April 24, 2013
We improve the lives of kids and families who are at risk. From helping youth succeed in school and the workplace, to supporting families dealing with isolation, poverty and trauma. We provide these services where they are needed most: in homes, schools and neighborhoods.

HFA will create an engaging 21st century curriculum: Students apply academics to real-world issues and situations through project-based learning and the Corporate Work-Study Program.
HFA emphasizes the value of life skills: Teaching students to work collaboratively, think critically, and solve problems is as important as teaching them academic knowledge.
Technologies and Multimedia: Teaching students to code and program can help with both mathematics and literacy understanding – how to think logically, solve problems creatively, and learn safely through failure.
Multi-year courses: The career technical curriculum will include three or four year-long courses that are infused into the core academics and will work with industry leaders and teachers to create lesson plans and curriculum that guide students through the classes they need to pursue a career in a particular field.
