Freetown of ChristianiaWatch films about the Freetownof Christiania and the ChristianiaShares. Forty years have passedsince local residents tore downthe fence and occupied the dis-used military base in centralCopenhagen, giving birth to theurban Freetown of Christiania.Today, almost a thousand peo-ple live in Christiania, which atthe same time welcomes mil-lions of guests from all over theworld, making it one of Den-mark’s top cultural attractions.The autonomous Freetown ofChristiania has reached anagreement with the Danish stateafter years of negotiations.
